I would bet that Mr. Maloof has heard about this issue. He is often out on the floor, and is responsive to his patrons. For example, the "music" is no longer headache-inducing loud.
From my casual, unscientfic observations, it seems that many servers take just a handful of orders before returning to the service bar. That is inefficent, and it is a shame that it costs the girls, as they'll end up with less tip money at the end of their shift.
There might be a problem with lack of coverage during shift chamges and breaks.
For all I know, George M is working on the problem. It doesn't concern me any more, I bring my own water with me. Also, I don't bring my many out of town visitors there anymore. I won't be embarrased again by the 90 minute waits for drink service. On one occasion, the bartender took pity on me and gave me drinks to take to my guests. Other times, I have given up and gone to the bar to buy drinks, which isn't fair, considering how much these knuckleheads lose.
Oh, and my spouse and I tip well, and have a good relationship with the slot personnel. We always tipped the servers, even if we had to wait a long time, and never complained or tried to make these young ladies feel bad.
