Re: [vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's LVA

It's nice to know that they aren't just picking on me. I filed my return in January and I am still waiting for my refund.

Regards

In order to apply for a refund of the 30% withheld amount, you must file a 1040NR return, and attach to it 1042-S form(s) documenting the gross winnings and withheld amounts. I don't think I would want to chance making that filing without my correct name on the 1042-S.

Incidentally, it is now more than seven and a half months since I filed to recoup 2014 withholdings! Previously, this process took six to eight weeks. My thoughts on this are unprintable.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Vegas Inc: Nev. casinos find ways to add skill-based games

I don't understand the big fuss over skilled based games. These are not new, back a number of years ago there was a trivial pursuit slot machine where if you got the answers right to the trivial pursuit questions you earned more credits. It was one of the few machines I ever played, and that was because I was good at trivial pursuit. So I call that a skill based game.

Interesting. But I will bet it doesn't catch on. Unless a way to handicap good players. Not possible I believe otherwise. If anyone can play a primarily game of skill, good players will dominate. Same as in pool or darts. Only way to make those skill games fun for large group is handicap system.

In addition, if truly a skill game, winning cash is not covered by Federal gambling laws. There is no Federal
laws against awarding cash in skill tournaments. You might think live Poker games are games of skill,
but i believe law considers poker more gambling than skill. Of course, this is a complicated idea.

I be looking to find some of these, just to check em out.

Cheers.......Jeep

The South Point hosts are shown on their website.

http://southpointcasino.com/casino/executive-hosts

Courtney's email address is WhitakerC@southpointcasino.com

Email addresses for the other hosts probably follow the same pattern.

Thanks for posting your Reno story.
