[vpFREE] Lack of quads

What I guess I am not expressing is that while playing 10 play I got dealt three of a joking Aces like 10 times, trip 2s say 5 times, trip 4s 5 times, trip 3s 2 times, trip kings 3 times, trip 10s once, 9s 2 times, 8s 3 times, 7s twice, 6s 3 times, 5a twice, and yet in the entire time only got at most (I wasn't counting) quad 7s once out of the entire results.

Add that all up and it we are talking maybe 35 instances to dealt trips x 10 lines, yet only one final line of any quads. You should get the final quad card holding 3 dealts more often than 1 in 47 times, cause u already saw 5 cards, isn't it basically the redraw of 1 card is a 1 in 46 chance, and the redraw of the second empty space is 1 in 45... I'm not mathematically educated enough to give u the exact probability for 1 line with 3 dealt, but I'm getting that on average you should end up getting about 7 or more final quad results in my 10 play 35 instances of trips dealt example and 1 final quad seems a bit odd!

The thing is, this is not the only time this has happened to me over the past year or three. it seems all too common for 5 play, which is what I usually play, over and over and over (sorry I wasn't counting, but I guess I should), 3 of a kind dealt on multi-lines, and no final quads or very few (fewer than expected, not more than expected).

Yet I do get quads holding 1, 2, or even 0 cards.

The averages seem to work out pretty much as expected for single line. I am specifically talking about multi line oddity. And 3 play seems too be more normal than 5 or 10 play.

Hope this is a little more understandable to those of you who just don't want to believe the random number generators could be off.

[vpFREE] rob singer posts

I think the the vp moderator was right about his initial concerns with Rob Singer responses(3 and counting) to this subject being disruptive. I would respectfully suggest that Mr Singer be barred from any further participation on this thread so the rest of the group may enjoy this subject without controversy.

I don't think gamblinman was dissing the math as much as he was the exercise. Besides, everyone who plays a vp machine inside a casino is gambling, not all advantage players win, and not everyone else loses.

I can only speak for myself as an out-of-towner, you will get next to nothing offers. 1 buffet in 3 months, and 1 6x points.

This fellow's handle "gamblinman" gives us a clue as to why he believes
that the math is "drivel." He's a gambler. As Mark Twain said, "Let us
be thankful for the fools. But for them, the rest of us could not
succeed." So be thankful that for every advantage player there are
hundreds or thousands of players who give the casino a profit on games
with over 100% potential payback and help to build up progressives.

Re: [vpFREE] Station Casinos information needed..

Last September we played a couple of hours on the FPDW at Boulder
Station. Had not been there for years.
After a couple of months, got a mailer for:
$25 free play, 2 free buffets, 2 free nights Sun-Thur at RR,GVR ($79
weekends), or 3 free nights at Sunset
Station,Fiesta/H,Palace,Aliente,Fiesta/R,Santa Fe,Boulder,Texas anytime.

I signed up to the Stations web site and joined "mystation"
Looks like I had 458 points and 1845 status credits from Boulder. So I
did not gamble all that much at Boulder Station.

I converted our Fiesta Amigo card to Stations MYstation and I continue
to get 3 overlapping room offers (each good for 2 months) plus buffet
plus free play.
2 free nights Sun-Thur at RR,GVR ($79 weekends), or 3 free nights at
Sunset Station,Fiesta/H,Palace,Aliente,Fiesta/R,Santa Fe,Boulder,Texas.
Fiesta/H is our "home" Station casino. I did have a lot of old points
on the Amigo Card though.

So you can play at one Station and get offers to use at any of them.

When this was purchased there is a part on the deal( with Living Social) that says the "fine print". Nowhere is there anything about this being a time share in the fine print.

That being said I printed out my voucher and called the number they gave me to make the reservation----- nobody is answereing .

Great, I'm sure many of us would appreciate it. If this turns out to be kosher I'll double book there as I already have a room there in May at $22 a night through hotels.com.

There is someone from Facebook who is making use of the deal this Sunday and I've contacted them about calling me to let me know what happens at check-in. I'll report back here immediately once I have confirmation of exactly what happened, as well as updating TA and VMB.

I hadn't changed my play but it now resulted in surprisingly lowball offers. Whereas I would get offers for $750.00 free play, 3 nights in a suite, $300.00 + towards dining or spa, now I get a couple of show tickets to some obscure comedy or rock performer, 2 nights in a room and $100 in free play. Why bother? I give Wynn, Caesar's,MGM and the Venetian the same amount of play and consistently get great offers from all. Venetian for a year or so did go weird and the offers went lowball, so I just stopped going. Now they have resumed the good offers and I have returned. I guess they must have lost a lot of customers during that time.
> > Maybe the Palms will wake up or maybe not. I went through the same thing with Red Rock a few years ago where I got great offers with free play and RFB, then suddenly they stopped cold and so I stopped going. When I asked my host why the offers had stopped, the answer was that it was a new directive by Station Casino. By the time they tried to get me to return it was too late as I was getting equally good offers from different properties I had begun playing at and had no desire to return to Red Rock. That same host admitted to me that the directive had cost Station to lose a lot of players.

I'm curious but I won't bite. I got 2 nights at the Plaza in May at $22 a night through hotels.com.
This offer does sound tooooo good. Especially when the Plaza has a long list of known gamblers to send out comped rooms to. Why chance getting burned by sharpies or deadbeats?
If it's kosher this is a better deal than Stupak ever offered!
