The game you are playing now has a return of %98.91 Their best game for dollars is jacks or better at %99.54 the difference is %0.63. If you are playing $20,000 per day coin in the theoretical difference is $126 in your losses playing deuces versus jacks or better. You are the only one who can determine if this amount is compelling.
Looking at the Database I see that they have Bonus deuces wild. This is a much better game than the version you are playing and has a return of %99.45. If you like deuces wild you will most likely like bonus deuces wild. It is more volatile than the game you now play, but has a better return.
Ultimately you must decide what your goal is. If you are someone like Bob Dancer your goal is to make as much profit as possible. If your goal is to play a little and have a good time then play what you like and don't worry about it.
If you are somewhere in the middle find the game that you like the best with a reasonable return, learn it well and have a good time playing.

Subject: [vpFREE] DW at the LV Westgate
I'm at the Las Vegas Westgate several times a year competing in pool tournaments, including the World Championship coming up in August.
I spend some time between matches relaxing at video poker. FPDW is my favorite, but those are hard to find, especially $1. I do not want to spend time wandering around town, so I play what the Westgate has to offer. The best seems to be DW with the (bet five) payout:
5, 10, 15, 20, 20, 45, 75, 125, 1000, 4000
I have the holding hierarchy modified from that for FPDW. Done fairly well with it. Got two royals and my share of 4 deuces the last time I was there for a week.
There are a variety of "bonus" games that I haven't bothered to look into. A gentleman stopped by while I was playing, and remarked that the payout was better for some of those. That may be for all I know, but after thinking about it some, the concentration of payoffs in 4-of-a-kinds would seem to make those games more volatile. And the hold hierarchy tables are surely a lot more complicated.
Question: Is there any compelling reason for me to get acquainted with those "bonus" varieties?
