Noti, as it was explained to me, the joker symbol can appear at random on any card but only on the first five cards dealt.  It doubles the payout when its part of a winning hand.

Someone commented on the screenshot and said it looks like an old coin-op "for amusement only" arcade game by Bonanza Enterprises, LTD..  .

Never seen it. What's the rules on the jokers? Is only the 8d a joker or does it randomly appear on cards? Does the joker only double quads or does it serve as wild also? Is this like One-Eyed Jacks or something completely different?

[vpFREE] Joker Bonus Video Poker

 

Does anyone recognize the video poker game in the screenshot in the link below?  I gleaned this picture off the internet.

This picture was taken while the credits were still racking up for the Four 8's.  The credit meter on the upper left, in green, is up to 7005 credits.  The 4 of a Kind in the payscale is showing 1145.  It is decreasing as the credit meter is going up.

With the 50 coin bet the 4 of a Kind pays 2500....and because of the 8 of diamonds showing the joker symbol on it then it doubles the pay. So this hand is actually paying 5000 credits. 

This payscale, at least 109%, is to good to be true.  But the person who posted the screenshot says its a real game in a real casino.

It looks like 1980's technology to me.
