Yes, thank you, I have been trying to follow it since Day One.  I don't live there but I do have friends that have played there.  As I figured would happen, in the beginning they immediately downgraded the best games.  Then, for awhile, I know it was reasonable and a fair play, for quarters anyway.  And if they really had what VPFree2 says they have, it would still be decent.  But I have heard that even those tables have been downgraded further.  "007" says he is going to try to stop by in a few days and confirm what is there.  If they have downgraded everything to 6-5 Bonus Poker, then it will be a shame.  Another case of "suits" not getting it.

If you're playing a +EV game the Palms won't ever comp you, but you can get comped and earn points at Sam's Town even if you're playing FPDW. I just spent five days at the Palms and five days at the Gold Coast, and they were both reasonable. I got $30 a day for gambling for two days at the Gold Coast, $25 ad day for food, and a free room for the whole stay. Through the Las Vegas Advisor I got a great rate at the Palms and their excellent $50 coupon, and I bought a $40 slot coupon for $25 on an internet gambling site.

At the Palms I got one set of ducks and one royal which made me positive for the stay after the room and resort fee while at the Gold Coast I had to play NSUD which left me barely positive even with their generous multi-point days and a set of ducks on a $.50 machine. On Christmas day I believe as a Sapphire player I was getting five times points though I'm not sure. I ate at Ping Pang Pong which is my favorite restaurant for dim sum and thought I worked things out quite well. Also, by staying at the Palms and the Gold Coast, I avoided the need for a car and got a round trip on a Showtime shuttle which took me to the Palms and picked me up at the Gold Coast. One last thing, I got Restaurant.com coupons for Simon, NOVE, and the Bistro Buffet at the Palms. To my mind, the extra 1.03% you get with FPDW over NSUD is worth quite a bit in terms of comps, and psychologically it's better to play a +EV game like FPDW than a -EV game like NSUD.

I say we should be happy we are still getting multipliers.  Since they are implanting the Station-like requirement for kiosk activation of all multipliers next month, I am sure they too will soon deny multipliers to all players they feel have an IQ higher than their shoe size.

We have received 'only' the 7x points for video poker on all four days so far (12/25-12/28). Has anyone gotten higher than the 7x points?

I've never been interested in JOB QQ because you need to hold 2 pair which greatly diminishes the number of QQ you get.
