Re: [vpFREE] New Video Poker Game - Bonus Discard Poker

Could be an interesting diversion, but not something I'd play for serious money.

I have a newly patented video poker game for everyone to try.  The game is called Bonus Discard Poker and the instructional video is located at: http://youtu.be/Dzthk0ogppI

The demo is located at: http://gagstan.com/cards/

I'm still working out the math, but all feedback is welcomed!

Your new game worked just fine on my Imac. It's a fun game and I would play it in the casino. One hand got a pair on top and a straight flush on discard hand. 5 x 40 for $200 win. Now if that happened in the casino I'd be a happy player. It is fun. Good luck!

The game is played by using 10 credits per hand, so that part of it should be okay.  Try Chrome and let me know if it works or not.  I have only had a few issues trying to play it on the ipad or from my phone, but no problems using my computer.

Update to my previous post.  I went back to close the window with your demo screen and gave a few more clicks to the "Deal/Draw" button.  As I did this I noticed that the credit meter kept decreasing by "10" with each click - but no cards were being dealt.

Well, I just watched your youtube instructional video and then proceeded to your demo.  Although informational "pop up" boxes appear when I click the "How to play" and "Information" buttons, nothing at all happens when I click on the "Deal/Draw" button.  If this is intended to be a functional "demo", it seems to not be working at present.

I just played it and everything was fine.  Did you try using Chrome as the browser?

When you first get to the page, you should be able to click the deal/draw to initiate gameplay.  Try with Chrome and please let me know if it works or not.

I didn't see any of these today. The best I found was Illinois Deuces
near the cashier.

Re: [vpFREE] Card Odds

Thanks so much, 5-card.  I knew your Web site had a wealth of VP information  I had used  down through the years -  but I had forgotten that particular section.  My memory just isn't as good as it used to be!!!!

Jean,

I believe that I have answered the odds of catching everything possible in JB & DDB when using correct strategy. http://www.videopokerhelp.net/odds.htm  The answer to your question would be found in "Hold four cards".

What is a good source to find the odds of various VP hands.  For example, when you are dealt 2 pair, what are the odds you make a full house?
