It's been a while since Jake's Jacks have been seen. I played it
a bit at the Gold River in Laughlin and at Binion's in Las Vegas.
It was Bonus Poker with 200 coins for quad K's,Q's and J's
instead of 2's, 3's and 4's. As in Bonus Poker it was 400
for quad A's.

Pretty sure the 678 Joker was a 2-pair version that has been discussed here before. I can't find the thread. I'm pretty sure Iguana was where I first heard of it from. I too would like to know more history on that. Apparently it was like a 1.5% game by itself, if I remember. Who dealt it? Was it Bally?
The Jake's Jacks I never heard of. Looking forward to hearing about that too. No doubt Mickey can fill us in.

What are Jake's Jacks, 678 JKR and why did they attract your play?

No I don't believe that was me. I played Jake's Jacks, 678 JKR, Flush Attack,
and the Pioneer Progressives in Laughlin...not much else.

Re: [vpFREE] XVP: No More Crab Legs at ANY Station Casino?
discounted pricing would continue through at least the end of next
month. :-(
I liked the crab legs at Santa Fe on Friday nights and at GVR the
rest of the time (I live in the NW, so GVR is a bit of a drive for
me), due to the fact I could use points at a significant discount for
free all-you-can-eat hot crab legs.
Whilst Stations are offering this discount and no crab legs, what are
my other options?
BRING BACK THE CRAB LEGS, STATIONS!!! :-P

I would imagine it would have been markers, not cash brought into the casino by Mr. Dancer.

Amarillo Slim or Titanic Thompson would already have a road scoped out to
set up a sucker. The road would be a main artery for some big factory at
shift change. But the factory would be out of sight of where the hustler
and his mark sit and make their bets. And, of course, Slim or Titanic would
already know the stats on the color of cars coming out of the factory. <<
As this would play out in the "Guys and Dolls" version of VPFree.
