RE: [vpFREE] LVRJ: Professional gamblers gain with tax ruling

They missed the entire point of the ruling. Pros could always deduct
expenses. This just allows them to use expenses to create a net operating
loss for a losing year.

[vpFREE] Re: Annoying Caesars reservation system

My hosts in the Harrah's system always returned my calls and emails quickly. In fact, even though I'm a low diamond now and rarely play in their system I still get occasional emails from my Caesars host. I don't think you can lump them all together.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Questions about Tunica

There is a great Mississippi river museum just before the entrance to the Fitz and also a neat nature trail along the river behind the Fitz. Any rumors about cottonmouth moccasins hanging from the tree branches are just designed to scare Yankees. If you are going to be outdoors, be sure and take mosquito repellant, though. The best VP is next door to the Horseshoe, loose deuces I believe. It is also a Caesar's property, changed names a couple of years ago.

That's why I always get a confirmation number and often call the hotel to confirm it myself.

Re: [vpFREE] Annoying Caesars reservation system

*i'm afraid to ask what is probably a stupid question, but what's wrong with
the caesar's reservations system? i use it all the time in atlantic city
(and elsewhere), and it's pretty simple. i select from my offers, see what
types of rooms are available, choose a room and date(s), and that's it. what
am i missing as a problem?

If your host is gone ask for a host on duty. I either text or email my host and always get the room and tower I like.
Good luck

[vpFREE] Re: Planet Hollywood RIPOFF

Hilton is still free, and if they put in more betting kiosks by the auditorium, the lines shouldnt be too bad. If they put a board with the lines, it would be fine.
Also heard Riviera is doing a FREE show, and also raffling off prizes (for free also!!!).
Strat has a free one too.
Lots of choices beyond the Harrahs short-term thinking cash grab...

I may send an email to the NCAA about copyright violations too...

Re: [vpFREE] Questions about Tunica

*depends on your taste. horseshoe is 'grittier' than harrah's. the casino
also is more cramped and smoky, imho. there is the benefit of the two
casinos there (i wouldn't count gold strike. it's not a caesar's casino, and
the vp is completely unplayable). as for the 'best vp' mentioned by the
other commenter, harrah's does have full pay $ vp (or it did when i was
there last).*
*
*
* i should mention that i have found the employees at tunica (including my
host) to be extremely friendly and helpful.*
*
*
*i actually go to tunica because it is in the middle of nowhere, because it
is a slower pace, because the service is so good--good vp and a nice pool
are all i need. to each his own.*
*
*
*as for the other person's comment about paula dean's buffet--it's true. you
can feel you arteries start to clog the minute you walk through the door.
but it's a huge, tasty buffet, if it's your thing.*
*
*
*have fun and win big!
