[vpFREE] ReferLocal deals to continue at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in 2014

 

Since 2011, ReferLocal, a third-party website offering local deals (similar to Groupon), has partnered with Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs offering certificates which are redeemable for both free play (slot or video poker) and food. 

Some of the best deals offer $25 in food and $25 in free play for $25. While MS's Video Poker paytables are very shoddy, I don't mind losing return from the free play while getting great food and getting 1.25% back on all of my credit card purchases [the deals are positive EV in my book!] - especially since I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania and don't have sufficient bankroll at the moment for bigger promotions/plays. 

The ReferLocal/Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs deals are continuing into 2014 - improving over what was offered, in many respects, when compared to previous years. In 2014, the certificates for food at casino restaurants will no longer expire (and so far don't have blackout dates listed, save New Year's Eve); previous certificates usually expired within three months of the deals initially releasing and have had some blackout dates.

While these deals may not be major for many on this list, they're worth it for those who are local or travelling to Northeastern PA. I wonder...do other casinos offer deals like this list members have seen?
