[vpFREE] Re: M-Life Noir Level Free Cruise Comp

MGM copied the exact same perk as Caesars (except the cruise line which the owner of Caesars also owns NCL). Caesars 7 Star also is balcony.

We are leaving Wednesday for a 9 day Canary Island and 11 day Holy Land Caesar Windsor cruise give-a-way offers we got from our local.

Around $350-$400/cabin is typical for NCL out of Miami

That's a good deal. I think our cruises from Harrah's and Hilton were $400/each. And had to pay for a balcony upgrade for the Harrah's deal.

Just don't spend too much time in the casino :-)

[vpFREE] How has double entries changed Palms promotions?

I am from outside Las Vegas and I visit several times a year. I'm wondering if anyone wants to share what they think about how double entries in palms drawings have changed the viability of playing there.

Are all the serious players now just doing drawings or are some people playing for pew prizes still? Are so many people playing for double entries that the palms isn't as good of a play anymore?

Thanks for any information

Re: [vpFREE] Another dumb (and annoying) promo -- Palms cookie....

Hello Ms Craps
Last weekend it was a "donut guy" . A really nice fellow, but he only got
to my section every 3 hours. If you have a donut crave , the way around it
is to leave your machine, find donutman, hold a dollar in your hand to
indicate tip, and get 2 donuts for "you and husband". Proceed to McDonalds'
and get the 59C Senior coffee and Voila you are set with a donut breakfast.
Got to warn you, those donuts are generic - way below crispy creame quality.
PS - you are right , Stupid / misleading promo as the right way was to
enable the drink servers with donut ordering ability. I'm going to imagine
that money talks and BS walks and a $2 tip in advance to the waitress will
get you a donut ! For Donuts my favorite casino is the Fremont , where they
have their own Dunkin Donuts on floor.

best...Tom

The morning donut setup is the same method. It's usually slow there in the morning, so the rounds are frequent. Too frequent for me since I'm on a diet!

[vpFREE] Re: End of Feb/Early March trip to Vegas

Just did this over Christmas. Did not use an offer, booked on web, came up Comp. The rooms at the RIO are not what they used to be. Did not play one cent there or eat there. Offers are still coming in almost daily. Played strictly at GC.
I am not 7 stars only a bare minimum diamond.

Palms is posting Midnight Madess signs about a free cookie and some Kaliua drinks 8-12 Fri and Sat if u are playing...

Only problem, there is only 1 person rolling a cart around the whole casino.

I was playing for over half an hour, asked cocktail waitress for some soda and cookie, she came back saying only 1 person somewhere on the other end of the casino. I clicked my service button and again half an hour, no service person, no cookie person. Complaining to slot club, they said go to the other end of the casino and look for her..... Right, chase around the casino trying to find a cookie....

Not to mention, the whole point of promo is to get the goodies while u are playing.

In 4 hours of play I spotted her once.....

Why not give cocktail waitresses cookies......???? Or vouchers for them, you pick them up somewhere?

I wonder if this is the drill for the donuts in the morning. I am never up that early.

My motto, don't have a promo if u can't deliver. And if u are going to promote something to get people to your casino, don't make it a dumb, and in this case, annoying, promo.

(Note to Palms, that cookie costs u something like 25 cents, but in negative publicity could be worth a lot more .... How about $3000 - the amount I lost at Palms this week,.....I'm gambling elsewhere next week.....after this silly but annoying promo....I'm funny that way....maybe other people are too...?)
