[vpFREE] Re: century casino; central city, CO -- downgrade

kickboy, that game is the awful 9-5 DDB which at reset pays less than 98%. Play it only if you're a philanthropist. Merry Christmas to all at vpfree.

[vpFREE] century casino; central city, CO -- downgrade

the 99.96% DDB at century hotel and casino no longer exists ... summarily (and sadly) wiping out the mathematically best game in the entire state.
the bank of four machines in question formerly had a choice of two DDB games: a 25c, up to 5 credit play with the 99.96 paytable; and a 1c, up to 100 credit play with a progressive for the RF, but a considerably worse paytable.
when i was in there yesterday, the 25c option is no longer available.  the only option now is a single credit play (only) for $1 (no longer an option to play 1c, up to $1).
the paytable is 1, 1, 3, 4, 5, 9, 50, 80, 160, 160, 400, 50 with the progressive RF currently standing at $1025 (starting at 1000?, that's just a guess).
i didn't run the numbers to see what the expectation is for this table.  i have no idea if this is now/still the best game in the casino, i didn't do a quick inventory of the machines ... instead i walked down the street and played NSUD.
i'm both sorry and surprised to see it go.
merry xmas to whom it applies, happy new year all,m.

RE: [vpFREE] Palms mailer for locals cutbacks

I agree. Mine have decreased the past 3 months, each month less than
previous month. Play was about the same in previous months.

I would now have to say they have definitely cut back. I thought maybe they
had cut back in Nov. And Dec., but I wasn't 100% sure since my play in Sept.
And Oct. And Nov. Might have been less. But I am sure I had some heavy play
days in Nov. And Dec. And just got my Jan. Mailing and it is $100 a week
when earlier in the year it was $200 a week. I also know I was a big loser
in those last two months, so for me I'd have to say it is lower. For this
amount of play I am getting far better offers at Vegas Caesars, though of
course the downside is the paytables for VP are much worse. I think perhaps
it is time to go back to Gold Coast.
