I'm not all that familiar with Atlantic City, but in New Orleans the humidity is killer and the best way to remove it is with the Air Conditioner. I'm sure the water around A.C. has the same effect. No humidity worries in Vegas, no need to freeze.

My wife and I aren't happy about the cold, but I'd rather wear a jacket than put up with 80& humidity and the mold possibilities.

I find Laughlin colder than both A.C. and N.O. but a step outside for two minutes cures that.

[vpFREE] Palms Hosts

 

Wai Mei Borgel, who used to be at the Palms and then was at M, is back at the Palms. She is one of our favorite hosts, along with Mickey Petkus.

I see, at vpFREE2, that there are major changes in this department at the Palms, with many old hosts gone and new ones being hired.

I also have both but hardly ever take the MacBookAir on trips as using
mobile vpFREE2 solves the scrolling problem. However, occasionally when you
know you'll be using Windows-based programs like Wolf VP, WinPoker, etc. it's
best to take the MacBook with Windows emulation for those programs. If all
you're doing is using vpFREE2 database & you have a smartphone, you can
skip taking iPad with you unless you want to do other things. I load my iPad
with movies & TV shows that I haven't seen to avoid wasting time channel
surfing stuff that I've already seen. With iCloud you'll be able to get those
shows already purchased or rented from the cloud where you have wi-fi on
any Apple device that accesses iCloud so you won't have to upload & download
from your computer any more. Another idea that's more apropos to this forum
is storing your charts (e.g. progressive charts) in the cloud so that it
can be accessed at any time. This obviates using remote access programs like
GoToMyPC to get files off your PC. It's ironic that all this capability is
coming on right when I'm ready to retire from this avocation -- more on
that later.

Have you tried since downloading the new 5.0 software a couple weeks ago?
I could never scroll on my iPhone until then. If you still have problems,
you can click on the mobile vpFree2 format where there is no scrolling
required you just search for each casino by name.

Thanks for the response--except I am verbotten from using IOS 5 on this ipad2 due to conflicting programs on my side, fix will come from the head office sometime this century, I'm sure...but in the meantime, will use mobile vpfree2 and maybe print off some listings before I go on my Winders-based system!!
