I don't know 007 (so far as I know), but I suspect that if he hasn't had problems with casinos not liking him after going to Gaming, then that's a sign that he's considered a valuable customer to the casino --- i.e. they think he is a losing player.

If they thought he was a winning player, his experience would likely be different. My assumption about myself is casinos are always looking for a good excuse to remove me and that I'm always on camera. Obviously this isn't true 100% of the time, but if I always act like it is, then I'm protected when I am on camera

Again, I don't know him personally and am speaking of the situation in general rather than 007 specifically.

I still have the old brochure and you are correct that the
old tier levels required 90 days. They were 1000 base points

in 90 days for Pro, 25,000 for All Star, 50,000 for MVP and
200,000 for Hall of Famer.

Another notable change is that the lowest level, Club Palms
for which everyone qualifies, now has no benefits
whatsoever. They used to get some restaurant discounts.

Everyone can see the new tier qualifications at this link
(scroll down to the 2nd page):

Or just click on "Benefits brochure" on the Club Palms page
on their website:

Re: [vpFREE] LVRJ: Developer buying Railroad Pass from MGM

The Marcus Suan mentioned in the article used to be the GM at Casino Montelago.  He was the guy that had me trespassed from CM and refused to pay me my cash back.  This was the only time I had to go through Gaming Control to get my money.  My only sin appeared to be playing video blackjack on multi point days.    Beware.

Re: [vpFREE] MSS at it again

Call it inflation. It is not surprising to see casinos raising the bar. It's just too bad that they don't give you a warning and tell you that you will need to raise your play by "X" percent to maintain your current level of offers. I believe It would get a better reception from customers than by just cutting the offers and getting your patrons upset.

Benefits changing again for us.
Prior to August our offers were 4 free nights, Aloha coupon book for meals and $75 free play.
August offers  were 4 free nights, no meals at all and $50 free play.
Just received November offers of 4 free nights, no meals and $35 free play.
We usually go to MSS three times a year and over a 4 day stay accumulate approx. 28,000 to 34,000 points.

If offers continue on a downward trend it will no longer be an option for us. I usually play the full pay machines that are marked at $3 a point.

Any one else having second thoughts about MSS?

[vpFREE] Re: Super Triple Play DDB dealt AAA33

Okay, so I checked again. Hold the 3 Aces and one of the 3s and there will be 47 possible outcomes. 44 will come up 3OAK, 2 will come up Full House, and 1 will be the Ace to give you Aces with the kicker 3. Calculate the returns for all those outcomes (15 x 44, 2x 45, etc.), divide by 47 and you get an average return of 101.0638 credits.

Hold only the Aces and there will be 1081 possible outcomes. 968 3OAKs, 67 Full houses, 36 four Aces/ no kicker and 10 Aces with a kicker. Calculate the returns for all these possibilities, divide by 1081 and you get an average return of 106.5079 credits.

All that being said, I suspectt lots of players eagerly forgo the 5 average credit disadvantage to go for the big one.

The Aquarius suites are big but not super fancy. Bedroom and separate living room with a kitchenette. Beautiful sunrises over the Colorado. Its pretty easy to please us nowadays. Their website has some pics.

We too have friends near BHC. Snow refugees from back around turn-of-the-century. Last week you could fry eggs on the sidewalk. T'is very different than Northeast/Midwest.
