Re: [vpFREE] Vegas traffic
Spaghetti bowl? Not familiar with that one. Anyone care to comment on the Henderson area traffic, light or busy?

Both Texas and Santa Fe are on Rancho Blvd. You just drive north or south which is easy navigation although getting to Rancho through the spaghetti bowl might not be.

[vpFREE] Re: LVRJ: Uncashed payout tickets could bring millions to the state
Although I disagree, since the state already claims unused gift cards from retailers, then logically they should be allowed to claim uncashed payout slips as well.
[vpFREE] Re: LVRJ: Uncashed payout tickets could bring millions to the state
I do not think there should be an expiration date on the payout tickets. I have presented a few that were "expired" but they were honored anyway.
I also do not think the state should be entitled to the money from expired tickets or unused gift cards from retailers.
Rather after a reasonable time period, say 5 years, the retailer or casino can then book the unused ticket as income and then pay tax on it, but still honor it if it should be presented at a later date.
Sure it is a sleazy way for casinos to make a few extra dollars, but the convience of ticket-in, ticket-out is worth it to the customers.

[vpFREE] Re: Vegas traffic
According to VPFREE2, the Fiesta Rancho still has:
100.76% FPDW (FP): 5c, 10c, 25c(NS)
100.65% JW (FP): 25c(NS)
100.17% DB (FP): 5c, 10c, 25c(NS)
100.15% LDW (FP): 5c, 10c, 25c
100.07% DDB: 5c, 10c, 25c(NS)
99.80% TB+ (FP): 25c, 50c, $1
99.73% NSUD: 25c, 50c, $1
99.69% SDB (FP): 25c, 50c, $1
99.64% Bdlx (...
But I haven't been there in about a year. If these games are gone, the database needs updating.

[vpFREE] Re: Hotel/Casino Options besides Red Rock
Four Queens keeps sending me comp rooms, and/or meals and free play, for just a modest amount of play. Plus, they have 25c and $1.00 Progressive Full-Pay Double Bonus. Without the Progressive it's a 100.17% return, the Progressive takes it up from there. I don't think any other Vegas casino has this game as a Progressive in these low denominations.
I'm heading up there next week.

Re: [vpFREE] Pick up a quarter in a casino... goto jail....
My husband cashed out his ticket of over $700 and a few mins later when he went back it was gone.
So we went to security and they reviewed the tape and found who took it. They found him in the casino made him pay it back, took his picture and told him he could never return. Told him it was a felony.
That was at Pala, an Indian casino in CA.

RE: [vpFREE] Re: Vegas traffic
You can pick up Rancho Blvd. on Sahara, just west of I-15, near the Palace
Station, and take it all the way up to the Texas and the Santa Fe. This
avoids the freeway maze. Also, don't forget the Fiesta Rancho, right next to
the Texas Station, it has some great VP.

there recently for an inventory check? Had nothing last time I was there a

<<You made me want
to watch that episode of "Big Love." Is it available at the network's
Web site?

Tom, I don't think you can watch it on the computer but I'm not really up on
this type of thing. For all I know you can watch it on a smart phone -
but I'm not electronically smart enough to know that. Anyway, you might
not enjoy it as I did. I had been watching this series for five years and,
as superficial as it sounds, was emotionally connected to, or at least
intensely interested, in this not-even-real family.

I sometimes find cashout slips intentionally left behind for 0.01 or 0.03 and happily cash them out. I guess I should be more careful as I should be put in prison for this.
