Re: [vpFREE] Re: Harrah's Rincon Database Update

No stickers. I noticed it on the $25 JoB slants.

[vpFREE] Re: Jackpot Joanies

Dotty's is the place with smoke free locations. We'll have more info on our show next Thursday.

Jackpot Joanies only has NSUD at some of their locations...not all.

I thought I read somewhere that jacpot joanies was a smoke free
place so that Bob Dancer's "Shirley" could play NSUD because of
her lung problem.

Went to the one on Horizon Ridge in Henderson. Was told NONE
of their places are smoke free. Also, found no NSUD.

Did I read something incorrectly?

Skip,

I've not played play there since some time in Jan. of this year. However, the VP2 website is correct. Although you will only find 3, single-line 9/6 JoB machines (multi-game, multi-denom $.25 up to (I think) $2. They are set up in a sort of 3-sided carousel. In the area called Diamond Cove, there is a bank of, I believe, 5 machines (also multi-game) that offer single-line $1 & $2 9/6.

An easy 10 min. walk or short "jitney" ride next door to Borgata will provide an abundance of single-line, multi-game/multi-denom ($.25-thru-$2) machines offering 9/6 JoB.

Yes... The number of cards held does not affect the probability of getting a draw multiplier

RE: [vpFREE] Re: Question about Double Super Times Pay

That is correct. Also true in the casinos of course. Both the deal and the
draw multipliers have an equal probability of showing up and also the same
average value (4.01).

The Atlantis game is from the videopoker.com web site.

Playing the Atlantis contest has anybody gotten a multiplier on the draw
when standing pat?

Based on the Double Super Times Pay contest on the Atlantis web site...

If you get a pre-draw multiplier of 4x, and a post-draw multiplier of 4x,
they *aren't* multiplied to get 16x, but rather added to get 8x.

Based on the Double Super Times Pay contest on the Atlantis web site...

If you get a pre-draw multiplier of 4x, and a post-draw multiplier of 4x, they *aren't* multiplied to get 16x, but rather added to get 8x.

As I understand it, diamond status never "guarantees" free rooms. --BG

As I understand it, diamond status never "guarantees" free rooms. I am diamond, play regularly in Indiana, mostly Hammond Horseshoe, and went on a trip to Hammond Southern Indiana. Called the host ahead of time for a comp'ed room and was told I didn't qualify; it's based on play, and although I regularly played there and qualified for free rooms (and more), I hadn't been for a couple of years, and needed to re-qualify.

As their rates were outrageous, I stayed at a nearby hotel, played some while there, and the offers are again in the mail; don't know how long they'll keep coming.

I think this is pretty typical - free rooms are apparently based on local casino action, and apparently how recently as well. And I'm sure "availability" is a factor for Diamond (probably not a problem for 7 star), esp. if there's some big event going on that would otherwise fill most of the rooms.

Other posts have accurately reported how long Diamond is "good" once earned.

[vpFREE] Re: Bellagio Database Update PLUS Progressives?

They don't have enough progressive machines in that list. I'd like to see a few more. Thank you.

It actually looks like someone is trying to make Vegas look appealing to gamblers instead of nightclub groupies. IMHO.

Interesting how they say the $25.00 vp progressive is "the only game worth playing". I don't want to put up a six figure roll so I guess I'll just stay home. Thanks for letting me know though.
