It just about has. Not concerned because it's mostly for fun these days.

[vpFREE] Re: The Non Sequitur of Progressives
You make a good point about high meters. You stay until it hits. The
reality for out-of-towners is that it's usually locked up by locals. However, if
you do see a machine with a good meter try to start it before it gets to
"pro" territory & see if you can make arrangements with another player/floor
person to save your seat for those inevitable breaks you'll need. There's
another way to use this: since you know where all the big bankrolls are
spending time, scout the other locations they usually frequent. In slot wonging
this was a great strategy since you could do a number of moderate stuff in
the time it took to take down a lucrative jackpot which required more
time. There's a similar strategy in VP when have multi-way progressives where
the lower lines including the royal are also good.

At M where the rise on the active meter is only .5% the difference is
small. The M progressives may be played almost like non-progressives at your
convenience.
On a 3% single meter you would be loath to walk away before the JP hit.

[vpFREE] Caesars Seven Stars
I just went over 100,000 tier points for 2011 last Tuesday. I thought the Seven Stars status would kick in automatically but I see online that I am still just Diamond. Do you have to ask for the bump? I see in the rules that you have to be a member "in good standing". Maybe I'm not?

I really don't do the bar thing much, unless I'm playing video poker. I'm probably not a good source for advice. I seldom drink more than two cokes, especially if I'm driving. I put a dollar for each one in the tip glass that he leaves.
Sometimes I feel a little wild, and order a Shirley Temple instead. I might leave $2 for that.

If I have a few hundred in freeplay Ill just go straight to my DB machine. Another reason is I dont play for future offers, I play as I feel comfortable and dont always use my card.
Ok, I read you. I was just looking at the situation through my eyes. Different people do this differently. Nothing wrong with that.

I think it's all in Nersesian's "Beat the Players" but I don't have page numbers to cite.

[vpFREE] Re: "Picking Up" Free Play
I do the same thing. I always play my free play out on a 25c 9/6 JoB single-line. I just play the minimum number of hands to cash it out. At the particular casinos I go to, they do not count the free play into the comp/coin-in equation, as you do not earn points on the free play. (So I usually "wash it", then start play my coin-in amount with whatever money I brought PLUS that "washed" money)
RE: [vpFREE] Re: LVSun: Lawsuits pile up as alleged casino assaults continue
Well, that and the fact that I've never had that kind of cash or chips in the first place.

Or he will pick it up when his or her shift ends while you are still at the bar.

Assuming you intend to continue playing in the future so as to earn regular monthly bounceback, why would it matter one iota whether you cash the free play out 90% of the time? If you look at video poker results in the long term, why would free play not also be part of that long term? If I include it amongst regular play, $25 free play is still $25 whether I win that day or lose that day.
