Thank everybody for thier comments. Hotwire gave a great deal of only 14.95 per day, and I took it. The bus idea was good but with my mobility difficulties I choose a car for flexabily in traveling but I will take my gps to vegas to help me navigate.

[vpFREE] 4 Queens offers
We have been receiving offers from the 4 Queens good for $200 in free play, room, and limited F&B. They are good once every two months. We now have a local address as well as a out-of-town address.
We are wondering if we are better off staying with the out-of-town address or switching to the local address.
For each three day stay we run $24,000 total through the $.25 10/7 machines.
Any opinions would be appreciated.
By the way, I just had an unusual session at $.25 10/7 at Sunset Station. I played 5,240 hands. I had five straight flushes and still wound up losing $350.
[vpFREE] Re: Question About Staying at Stations.
Thanks Barry.
Does anyone know if there are 2 separate banks? One for points and one for Comp $$?
At check in, the VIP gave me the impression that perhaps, upon checkout, anything my host wouldn't/couldn't cover, could either be taken from Comp $, Points or Cash/Credit.
Any thoughts?

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Great Race to Total Rewards ...... no way to track progress
Here is the response I got from my email inquiry:
As of yesterday, we were officially informed from our Corporate Total
Rewards that unfortunately there is not a way for our guests to track their
checkpoints for this promotion. The only suggestion we can give is to check
at the end of your visit to any of the qualifying properties with the Total
Rewards Department and they can look at what you have earned for the day and
if it qualifies for the promotion. You can always ask a Total Rewards
Representative how many Tier credits you have earned since the promotion
started. (what does that prove...I could get hundreds of tier credits at one
casino)
We wish there was an easier way to track this but as of right now, that is
all we can do.
My point is yes they can verify I played my 25 points, BUT I am trusting
them that it counts toward this promotion. Can't see why it should be so
difficult, you can go online and verify your Great Gift Wrap-up points all
year long. They should have set up a web site to follow your progress on
the Great Race.

When I've stayed there they have comped most of the meals without taking any points. At checkout I had the option of using points or cash to pay the balance.

When staying at a stations property and signing food charges to your room, do they first use up your comp points/$ if any, then take care of the balance or does your host take care of all the charges based on your play, and leave your points intact?
Thanks in advance.

I don't think it matters if you register before playing or after but it is required that you register on that day – some casinos have promotional kiosks so you don't have to go to the booth.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Cab or Car Rental
I also agree with the rental. My rentals in LV are far less expensive than anywhere else for the same length of time. It is quick and easy. We keep a condo here and it is cheaper to rent a car than keep one here with insurance and maintenance and a purchase.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Cab or Car Rental
I agree, the only way to move around LV from out of town is in a rental. You can eat in them, spill your drinks, even have a fender bender or two from behind and it's not yours to worry about.
I'm not sure about the pricing because I really never compared that, but for nearly ten years I rented full-time vehicles to drive back & forth from Phoenix weekly, exclusively from the LV airport because of ease of location, how I was treated, and the quick in & out. I rarely ever drove my own car because I always valet parked in the multiple casinos I visited, they were deductions on my schedule C, and those guys don't drive like granny.
