Does anyone know if there are 2 separate banks? One for points and one for Comp $$?

At check in, the VIP gave me the impression that perhaps, upon checkout, anything my host wouldn't/couldn't cover, could either be taken from Comp $, Points or Cash/Credit.

Any thoughts?
