Gamb00ler,
My personal method is very similar. Although I never thought about the time-stamp aspect of it...good point! I typically send myself an email from my phone with the details of each session. Then when my trip is complete I sit down in front of my laptop and enter all details of my emails into a spreadsheet.
I suppose it would be faster if I could use an app to capture all the details, however the challenge would be how the app would update my spreadsheet....especially when my spreadsheet lives in the cloud (google docs) and cell service is not always reliable.
Hmm...good food for thought.
