They withhold the IN state income tax of 3.4% at Hammond. Playing 50 play $
will generate that quite often. (Also I think the machine will lock up so
play can be very slow.) They still do have the 15-11-4-4 deuces and also 8-5
super aces. All MS casinos on the Mississippi river will be closed for at
least 30 days. Also a 3% "tax" is withheld on $1200+ and not all states
allow the reciprocal deduction on their returns.

have no history with any casino outside of vegas, so I have not gotten any

I see on vpfree that Horseshoe Hammond has some amazing games like 50 line
$1 Deuces Wild 44 which has 99.96% payout. That could get me there in no
time with way less variance than higher coin machines. But I heard that they
withhold taxes on large payouts that you can't get back even though I would
likely have no net win when I do my taxes. Is this true even for out of
state residents?

The only other good machines I see are some at Tunica Roadhouse Casino And
Hotel, the best being a 99.92% $5 machine. That would require 40,000 hands
to get to Seven Star but that's pretty manageable over a long week. But I
hear they are closed because of flooding and who knows when they will open
again and if the profitable machines will still be there.

Other than that my only option to do it without giving up many thousands in
theo is some bonus point day at a casino offering 99.5% machines. Given that
I have no history with any, who would be the most likely to give me such
incentives?

The vpfree database shows there is 8/5 BP in 25-50-$1 increments, single line. Is that not the case? Is that much different than what you're looking for? Not quite sure where the "1% edge" comes in it that you mentioned.

I for one just wish M would being back the 3x and 5x REGULAR 8/5 Bonus Poker.

Forget this progressive. The only way to win is hit a Royal at it's peak. A 1/30,000 shot at it's best. Something I am competition with all the other players to do.

Why not convince them to bring back multi line regular games with the 1% house edge! I lost enough playing these so called "good" games without trying a game with an astronomical variance!

What happened to 8/5 bonus multi line? How about 9/6 Jacks or Better in some denomination higher than 25 cents?

M is trying to suck it's players dry, and make it up with presents of wine and logo clothing. Cut the promo's and bring back decent machines! Give me a REASON to play! I love the casino, but the games stink!

the EV is unaffected. the variance is very slightly lowered compared
to normal triple play.

suppose you draw to Ad Kd Jd Td. you have no chance to hit multiple
royals by drawing the Qd on two or three lines. but you also have no
chance to miss on multiple lines by drawing, say, the 5s on two or
three of them. your chances of hitting exactly one royal are slightly
increased.

[vpFREE] Palms Chairs

 

Okay, so I'm 5'4" and wondering about the math involved in playing the palms machines :)..I can sit back in the chair and reach my arms straight out and I'm about a foot and a half from the buttons. How tall would I have to be to actually USE the back of the chair and not have my legs fall asleep due to loss of circulation from perching on the edge of the chair to reach the buttons.

I told my husband that we could get some drumsticks and paste on some sponges and play that way. I told him we could start a business selling the "Palms Chair Compensator's". However, it may just be me feeling like Jack in the Giants abode :)

The old chairs were bad. The new ones are KILLER. I played for an hour and ache in places I didn't know I had.
