[vpFREE] Re: Vegas Values Report - 3 JUN 2012

In this report, Scot Krause writes, with regard to the June video podacst,
"Steve Bourie, author of the American Casino Guide, explains how to play
and how to win at roulette."

He explains how to win at roulette? Yeah, sure he does.

In the video, Steve says that, in order to win at roullette, "....you have
to get lucky." And, then he goes on to suggest not playing roulette, as
the odds better on other games in the casino.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Video Poker for Winners vs Win Poker

I have the same problem on WinPoker on the I-Pad the size provided is for the I Phone. Main reason I got WinPoker on I Pad is I thought it would fill the screen.

I've heard of various ways to change VPW to full screen depending on the operating system used. An email to tech support should get good advice.

Same thing as spending thousands of dollars just to become 7 stars, and get that free trip to Biloxi, Yippeee!

Re: [vpFREE] Advice Needed In dealing With Belaggio ..Computer Mistake

Larry,

While not exactly the identical situation, I was charged for a non-cancellation of a reservation, and it was basically a "he said, she said" standoff, as I didn't have a cancellation number. Nor did I remember exactly the date & time so they could 'review the phone tapes', though I was 99% sure of the date. But I appealed to my long-standing relationship, and lack of any prior acts of 'bad faith'.

I would go the same route, in your case, since it would be hard to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that you weren't in LV, and there is the chance that your SO might have lost a card in July which someone might have put in a machine in August. If you're a good enough player that you're getting decent offers, they should be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and make what has to be a minor correction to the system.

Good luck!

Tom

A lady at VIP services said that she saw that my SO had put her card into a machine on Aug. 23 and recorded no play ! This was impossible as we had visited in July of last year and in August were in New York where we live. The girl at VIP told me to speak with a Peter Weiss today. He will be in at 10 AM LV time. Has this happened to anyone and do you have any advice on how to handle this ?

[vpFREE] Re: VP Genius (vpgenius.com) has "Runtime" errors when trying to get vp game info

According to one of the more recent episodes of Gambling with an Edge, the Wizard mentioned that his current webmaster is the creator of vpgenius.com. Perhaps you can better reach him through one of the Wizard sites.

[vpFREE] LVA Question of the Day - 4 JUN 2012

LVA Question of the Day - 4 JUN 2012

Q: My wife and I are big improvisation fans. We used to love
seeing the Second City unscripted shows whenever we came
out, but they are long gone from the Flamingo. Then we
caught Wayne Brady's show and thought while pricey, it gave
us our improv fix. That's also gone. We're coming out in
mid-June. Are there any improv-type shows playing in the Las
Vegas area (we'll have a car, so driving is no biggie)? I
know the Improv at Harrah's is just a stand-up club.

[vpFREE] Re: Parking in Cleveland

Why go to "ANY" casino (or any business) where YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY and be told you have to SPEND a certain amount just to get FREE parking?

That would be like McD's, telling you, you have to buy $20 worth of stuff and if you don't, we are going to charge you $2 extra.

It's just the ideal of it. They want you to spend your money and if you don't spend what they think you should, they are going to charge you for not spending enough.
