FWIW, AC Harrah's properties have reduced theos wholesale on 9/6. The last theo I obtained was after a 2000 base session at Bally's in January on the 10-coin $.25/$.5/$1 machines on the floor -- it reported as $92 (presumed perfect play by all, apparently).

I'd advise staying at the nicest property (in my book, Harrah's, with Caesars at second place) and giving up one day's play, at most, wherever you can find an open machine (Bally's is likely the most bountiful option).

[vpFREE] Ride on Tahoe yacht with us June 2

As we did a year or two ago, we will be at Lake Tahoe on June 2 and getting a free ride on the Harrahs yacht and can take up to about 10 friends. If you will be there and would like to go, email me with your name, email address and phone number (and number of people). I will be in touch to reconfirm exact meeting place and time. Approximate time will be 12-4 p.m. Trip takes about 2 hours and includes a nice luncheon and drinks. Also transport from Harrahs to dock and back.

If vpFREE2 is not up to date, it's because users aren't
reporting changes that need to be made. As far as I can
tell, updates reported to them are being made promptly and
accurately.

If you see something in vpFREE2.com that should be changed,
click on "Send Update" and let them know about it.

I'm copying vpFREE2 Administration on this in case they have
anything to add.

I'm looking at one of those "cheap gas" websites right now, and it looks like most of the Rebel stations were beaten by at least a dime anyway. For instance, today, at vegasgaspricesdotcom, it shows several Rebels at $3.89, but several ARCOs at $3.73. The best one for today is Sinclair, 9010 W.Flamingo, at $3.63.

I filled up last night for $4.25, but I'm in California.

[vpFREE] Re: Question about Station's Slot Club...

Hey guys,

thanks to both of you for your responses!! You both answered my inquiries perfectly! I appreciate it!

Sorry to hear about Palms reconfiguring their slot points earning system though...

:(

If you're playing a JoB at 99.54% (non-optimum), but on the same machine there is a FPDW at 100%+ then is this machine still considered "Optimum" and therefore will you still be earning the lesser ratio of points?

Optimum machines are clearly marked. Even if only one game is optimum you will only get 1/4 normal points. Palms has copied the same ratio and 1/4 pointed the optimum machines.

[vpFREE] Re: Station Casino Caddy Promo

Shame on me- I read the fine print rules- multipliers are not eligible for extra drawing tix. I was told by a more savvy friend that usually that is the case for promo offers.

My Sat. multiplier showed up yesterday (Friday), not 72 hours, like the boothlings said. The Monday multiplier still has not been credited.

>
> What really frosts me is that it says in the promo that you get one drawing ticket for every 50 points. I had hoped to get a lot of tickets in the virtual drum at the start of the promo. Since the tickets accumulate, I had a better chance with more tickets at the start. No, it does not specify base points, which really are not a factor at Stations, since they advertise $1=3 points.

Thanx for the information, but I should have been more specific. This is a Seven Star event so we must stay and would want to play at a Caesars/Harrah's property. So if vpFREE2 is not up to date, I would appreciate input on the best Caesar property casino to play 9/6 JoB. Prefer the Boardwalk location (Bally's, Caesars, Showboat) unless Harrah's is better for some reason. As I said, the type of room isn't important; availability of good VP is!

If there is interest, we might plan a get-together of people on these forums????

[vpFREE] LVA Question of the Day - 12 MAY 2012

LVA Question of the Day - 12 MAY 2012

Q: I have read that in order to maintain a site for
potential development of a gaming operation, city ordinances
require that casino gambling occur there for at least eight
hours every two years. United Coin is usually involved
because its specialty is to set up temporary casino sites in
tents or trailers to preserve gaming licenses. My question:
What kind of games and are the odds lousy? Does anyone ever
win?
