RE: [vpFREE] Re: met Bob Dancer yesterday

I appreciate the kind words from all three posters in this thread.

I used to be regularly trashed on this forum. While the biggest trasher was eventually banned from the site, I haven't changed much (other than I now do the radio show). For some reason now I get mostly positive attention rather than negative. I'm not sure why this is --- but it certainly is a lot more pleasant for me..

I read an article this morning (3/13) about the Ohio house passing a bill to restrict/ban internet gambling cafes. Its claimed 800 of the joints are in the state and they employ 4,000 people.

Check out the Casino Queen in Illinois. They have 9/6 double bonus etc.
They pay back better than Missouri casinos.

Other than checking the web site, has anyone any suggestions for a quarter
player for St. Louis? My guess is there aren't advantage machines but is
there, say, NSUD? 9-7 Double Bonus? Similar? I'll have the use of a car
and I'll be there for a week plus

[vpFREE] Re: St. Louis

As others have said, at the quarter level, I would stick around Hollywood and Ameristar, which are within five minutes of each other.

Hollywood has slightly better games available, but both casinos offer 9/6 JoB, full-pay Bonus Deuces Wild, 8/5 Bonus (Hollywood also has 35/8/5 Bonus), 9/7 DB, and 9/6 DDB.

Hollywood also offers the highest paying quarter machine in the area 9/5 Triple Bonus Plus, which is a 99.8% return. Unfortunately, I think only one of those units are functioning.

Also Friday-Sunday, you can get a free buffet or $10 at Ameristar just by playing $200 coin-in (25 points) on your player's card.

RE: [vpFREE] Re: met Bob Dancer yesterday

I have had the pleasure of attending Bob's classes. He is always attentive & explains his systems in a way that even a slow learner (me) can grasp. I have his books & software. Of course I would be amiss not to acknowledge his dedicated staff. They are always friendly & helpful.

I second this opinion. We live in NJ and try to get to Las Vegas twice a year. Just booked April 9 to 18. We have been to several of Bob's classes, and I hope there is a class we can attend on this trip.

I highly recommend his classes at the southpoint. I wish my schedule allowed me to attend more weeks. There are a few I really want to get to, but that darn work thing doesn't always work out.

[vpFREE] Re: St. Louis

Hollywood has more playable quarter machines than anywhere in the area. I was there 3 weeks ago. There are 9/6 jacks,8/5 bonus, 9/7 db, 9/6 ddb, jokers, deuces and a 8/5/175 bonus game. On the right side a bank of multi game slant backs against a wall. On the left scattered around.

Re: [vpFREE] St. Louis

I won't tell you to check the website for the Hollywood Casino in St. Louis, I'll just give you a quick summary - since I wrote it :-) The casino is going through a major facelift so machines are moving around quite a bit, but the best there are -

2 Triple Bonus Plus (99.80) - though one of them was dead last month.
2 Super Double Double Bonus (99.69)
2 Triple Double Bonus (99.58)
8 Multiplayer with JoB (99.54), Deuces Wild Bonus (99.45), JW (99.29), others

I will be there next week and plan on updating the vpfree2 entry if some of the machine moves are completed.

Any other questions about the Hollywood email away ...
