Someone just reported to vpFREE2.com that the Palms $1/$2 10/7 DB is back on eight uprights by the gift shop. Stickers say it takes $4 coin-in to earn one point and they are excluded from promotions.

[vpFREE] Addition To Previous Question Re Discretionary Comps
If you don't mind how does this scenario play out at South Pt. which has .3% comp ?
What basically is happening is that the Strip is really becoming too hard to rationalize for LV trips which are generally 2x yr. Thanksgiving from LA and the summer from NY.
I'll be at the Bellagio this turkey weekend but it's ridiculous to try and earn some decent comps now that the rate is down to, in my case, .13%.
So only alternative is to try and begin to establish at a nice off the strip hotel and see if SO Mary is interested when we travel together for summer vaca.
Thanks again,
Larry Feldman
[vpFREE] Discretionary Comp Question
Hi,
I'm east coast so dollar 9/6 jacks is my game
According to VPFree2 Database :
Boyd Properties give .167% comp on less than 100% games
Station gives .3%
Both give discretionary comps.
On just a day trip I'm playing and I've given them approx. $12,000-15,000 worth of play when I decide to take a meal break.
At Boyd I've earned approx. $20-25 comp
At Station its approx. $36-45.
Do I use my pts. and limit myself within that range or do I save the pts.and go to the card desk or a host and say I'd like to get a food comp for what ever the name restaurant ?
How do either of these tactics affect mailings if I'm thinking of staying there on my next LV trip?
BTW I would probably finish my initial day of play in one of these casinos with approx. $20K +.
Thanks,
Larry Feldman
RE: [vpFREE] 7* Trip to Tahoe
My experience has been that it varies by property. And you cannot just believe what the check in clerk tells you.
At Rincon, I clearly asked and the conclusion was that anything that could be charged to the room was eligible to be comped. Not true. At checkout they refused to include spa charges under the $500 comp.

[vpFREE] 7* Trip to Tahoe
One more question. The 7* Getaway now says "$500 dining folio". Is it really limited to meals or is it a room folio credit? Thanks, RW.
[vpFREE] 7* Trip to Tahoe
A few questions about Harrahs Tahoe if anyone has any comments. I have searched and read trip reports etc, but did not see these. What kind of comps (spa) can I expect if I earn 10,000 tier credits all on VP? I know they take your RC's first which will be about $100 if I deplete others before going. What kind of tip is normal for Limo from
Reno airport? Is the boat cruise still offered to 7* and is it still running in Oct? Any other 7* perks? Thanks for any advice. RW.

Just posted three photos in the "jackpot pictures" area of my biggest hits. It was a fun trip, with the highlight being a Don Rickles show on Sunday night at Orleans.
[vpFREE] LVA Question of the Day - 12 OCT 2012
Q: I have to ask: What is Fezzik's opinion on the
Packers/Cardinals call? And further, what does he think
about the D refunding Packer bets and William Hill following
suit (sort of) with its no-juice on Packers bets?
