[vpFREE] Re: First Time Cruising w/ Casino...

Rhode Island as well but not Delaware.
Wasn't it you, lfcmja, that pointed out awhile ago N.Y. also requires an .92. E.V. and is actually not a bad deal for slot machine players?

The rules and regs are clearly stated for public consumption. This is where the "genie' comes into play. Themachines state that the cards are merely there for entertauinment puposes.

Invent a game double bogus bonus. Give it positive but very streaky paytable, too. So people would blame bad luck. Would a deck programmed to be missing one J each hand be enough of a fix?

If I were going to gaff chips on these cruise ships it certainly wouldn't be 6/5 JOB. An unattractive payscale like that runs too many players off. I would take 10/7 or 12/9 JOB, gaff that up, and suck everybody in.

Re: [vpFREE] Bob Dancer Class

Bob,

My wife and I were there as well and we very much appreciated the clear
presentation of the dos and don'ts.

Regards,

Walter

Thank you for posting your note. I try hard to make the classes relevant

Thanx to your suggestion we've scheduled a Reno guest for the May 9 show. It will be a split show with another guest as well. Probably.

I'm calling the prospective guest tomorrow and "pretending" to do an interview in order to judge whether he will be good on the air or not. And I can't announce his name until I know whether he prefers to come on the air under a pseudonym or not. (He may well decide to come on the air as "Reno Ron," or something like that.)

Munchkin and I are open to other prospective show ideas as well. Relatively few of the shows will be about video poker simply because it's hard to turn a show about the subject into compelling radio.

[vpFREE] Bob Dancer Class

Finally made it to a Bob Dancer class. It was the last one at the Southpoint, and although it was not one of the strategy (how to play) classes, many of the topics discussed were of help and both my husband and I are glad we went. The class was longer than expected, were learned concepts to help us make smarter choices, manage our bankroll and what variables to take into consideration when deciding where, when and what to play. Thanks Bob!

[vpFREE] Re: Revel Atlantic city/VLTs

Twin River slots pay out about 92%, which can be confirmed at the American Casino Guide site. Much better for penny slots than MS or FW.
The problem is they give you shit for your play-I think it's like $800 coin in for a comp dollar. Don't forget the state tax is around 61%-10 times more or less Nevada and NJ.

A Class II gaming device just puts a slot machine front on one of these games. Class II games require a central server to determine the outcome of a spin. A Class II machine does not determine the result of a spin; it just displays it."
