In the Las Vegas Advisor Top 10 Values list, it mentions that there are
currently four loss-rebate promotions going on, but doesn't mention what the
other three are. Are these the four, or are there currently others?
Cosmopolitan - $100 back on $100 losses
Westin Casuarina - $25 or $50 back on the same losses (I've found both
numbers mentioned)
Tropicana - $200 back on $200 losses, half immediately and half later
Terribles - $100 with LVA membership coupon
I assume that all but Terrible's are for new members only. I know that Trop
is.
My girlfriend joined Total Rewards on a loss-rebate promotion and we managed
to get comped rooms for about a year. Haven't seen the same sort of comps
come back off other loss-rebates, but the offers themselves are good enough
that it's a great way to introduce a friend to VP.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Harrah's Backrooms and Trespasses 86 year old Great Grandmother
Getting a little off-topic, but there are a lot of craps games across this
great nation, and not all of them have savvy casino crews. Some have
stickmen that will even help set your dice before pushing them back, in
order to speed up the game.
As a casino, if you don't believe in dice setting but want to encourage
players who do, that would be a pretty savvy way to do it.

What did you use to put iTunes on your Thunderbolt?

Wait, now I may have to retract the retraction. I didn't correctly force
a download.
Anyway, someone else try this and see if it works :-) My brain is
obviously very confused today.

Oops, I have to retract this. This did cause blog entries to appear in my
podcast feed, so I assumed everything was ok, but it only gives you links
that you still have to click on to download the individual podcast audio
files, instead of actually downloading all of them for you.
Sorry for the false start.

It should already be possible without Richard having to take any
additional steps.
For most podcasting software, adding the podcast should be a simple matter
of the RSS feed URL off of your blog:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/RichardWMunchkinWriterDirectorProfessionalGambler?format=xml
Specifically, on my Android phone, I went to
www.richardmunchkin.com
in the web browser, and on the right hand side under "Subscribe To" click
on Posts and then in the menu that pops up click on Atom and it should ask
you whether you want to open the link using the web browser (no) or your
podcast client (yes, assuming you have one installed).
Desktop podcast software should have a menu item or option where you can
add a new feed URL and paste in the URL above.
Exact details may vary between platforms and podcast clients.

I don't have an Android phone, so I am trying to investigate. I see that you can still get podcasts via itunes, and I have submitted to podcasts.com. Where do you usually get your podcasts for Android? I will submit there.

This fellow is right. I have an Android Thunderbolt. I have iTunes loaded onto it along with the 1500 songs in my library, and I can listen to GWAE....if I felt like it.

Not to answer for the original poster, but I would suspect that unless you had mentally rehearsed what to say/do and were otherwise somewhat prepared for a backroom threat, the act of saying no when confronted by a bunch of suits and security goons might be more easier said than done.

not everybody uses a phone to listen to podcasts. and iTunes is not limited to use on iPhones... it also works on other phones, computers, as well as iPods. so the fact that there are now more android phones than iPhones really has little bearing on whether or not iTunes is the best distribution method...
