Four Queens will do that for less play than 5k a day (on mailers). If you are looking to walk in and get it comped I would think you are in the range from what i've heard. Just call up and ask a host. FWIW the wife got 2 nights from Golden Gate running a few hundred on a first time players card bonus which we booked for opening weekend March Madness.

Thats what you would think, but I find plays almost everwhere I go.
The thing is- they are not as visable as say a Cherry Pie, nor take as long to get playable as the wongable slots did.

[vpFREE] Re: Nick The Sick Does Reno
This is a post I wrote on Nick The Sick about a year ago.
--- In vpFREE@yahoogroups.com, "Mickey" <mickeycrimm@...> wrote:
Maybe 8 or 9 years ago I was making a lap around the advantage slots in downtown Reno. I walked in the Center Street side of the Club Cal-Neva. At the bar sat Al, Downtown Ray and a few other hustlers. But their backs were to bar. They were looking at the $5 Cherry Pie. It was the old style pie where you had to fill the whole thing and the bonus was from 20 to 200 coins. From where I was standing it looked to be about 4 to go to get the bonus and whatever was in the basket. There was a person sitting on the stool at the Pie but his back was to the machine. He must be busted I thought, or he would be spinning it off.
I walked up to the bar to ask Al and Ray what was going on.
"Hay, guys, whats goin' on here" I asked. About that time Nick The Sick came around from behind a bank of machines with a little old lady. "Oh, my God!" I said and we all busted out laughing.
"How many has he been through?" I asked.
"She's the third" Al said. I grabbed a seat.
Nicholas, better known as Nick The Sick, was in Reno....and up to his old tricks. Hustlers, well, we kind of have our own jargon. If drugs are someone's thing then we say that person has a "problem." If a person is a compulsive gambler then we say that person is "sick." Nicholas was both. A crackhead and a compulsive gambler.
"Excuse me, Sir" Nick said to his agent in the Cherry Pie seat. "Are you playing this machine?"
"No" the agent said and got up.
Nick got the little old lady to sit down and put a bill in the machine. Nick grabbed a stool and sat close beside her. The Pie was 4 to go with 29 coins in the basket.
"This machine is hot right now" Nick said to the lady. "It's best to bet two coins." She started playing then asked "What's that?" as she looked up at the LED screen at the top of the machine. "Oh, that's nothing" Nick said. "It's just one of those fancy things they put on machines to attract attention." The lady went back to playing and when a Cherry landed in the screen Nick went "Look!" while he pointed at the paytable on the bottom of the machine. "You almost hit the cherries!" The lady looked down and didn't see the 2 Cherries up on the LED screen fly around and land in the basket. Nick kept repeating that process when a cherry landed in the screen.
Finally, a Cherry landed in the right position. Nick did his "Look!" act again and the lady didn't see the 2 cherries fly around and land in the pie, knocking it down to 2 to go. Then he pointed at the cherry in the screen and said "Usually, when a cherry lands there, the machine can go a little cold, so it's best right now to bet just one coin." The lady diligently complied and started betting just one coin. Nick didn't want her to bet two coins because if a cherry landed in the right position she would take off the bonus and the basket. His object was to get the pie down to one to go.
The lady finally ran out of credits and said "Thats it, no more." Nick led her around the bank of machines while his agent plopped back down in front of the cherry pie to insure no other hustler got the play. The pie was 2 to go with 37 in the basket.
A few minutes later Nick appeared with another victim, er, little old lady. He got her to bet just one coin and used the same distraction tactics on her. When she caught the cherry in the right position he did the "Look!" routine then immediately reached across her and hit the cashout button. The lady was actually 5 coins up at the time. Nick placed the coins in a bucket for her and she kissed him on the cheek as they walked away. The agent came back to the machine put a $100 bill in and spun the play off. 41 coins in the basket plus a 60 coin bonus.
We had all sat at the bar watching the show while laughing and joking and telling Nick the Sick stories. A little while later Nick walked up to say Hi.
"Heat, Nick!" Downtown Ray whispered. Nick turned around to see the Security Guard headed his way. "See you guys!" Nick said as he hit the Center Street door.

This scenario as you describe it is definitely Nick The Sick's motus operandi. He's been barred out of every casino in Nevada so it may be him that's at Rincon. The neighborhood crack salesman will wind up with all the money ...

They even go so far as to have you play every different game so that you leave multipliers on each.
One player I know told me about a time that one of these scumbags offered to show her how to play. He basically wanted to take her through every game and told her that the game gets cold as soon as it gives you anything decent on the deal and that you have to move to the next game at that point. Once you go through all the games on the machine, he advised moving to the next machine and doing the same. Because she was curious to hear his "sell" she followed his advice as he coached her to play. After going through a few games, she asked him, "What about all those multipliers that I'm leaving on the game?" He said that they were gimmicks trying to get you to stay on the game when it is programmed to get cold so that you lose. She told him that in case, she'll just play one more hand on each game at 5 coins so she doesn't get sucked into a "cold" machine.
He then gave her an indignant look, probably thinking how dare she waste his time if she knew the scam he was trying to pull on her. Sounds like a real piece of crap. Apparently he got up and spoke to a person standing nearby. Most likely, as he is coaching the victim to leave multipliers on the game and move down the line from machine to machine, there is probably at least one person to just come along and play off the multipliers as soon as he gets the victim to leave the machine and move on to the next.
You just can't help but hope horrible things happen to a**holes like that.
[vpFREE] Re: Gambling with an Edge Feed
Hi all,
Yes I had stopped putting the shows on my blog when I left, but now I am putting them up, and that is also the feed that goes into itunes. The last 2 shows are now up and I will be administering this so if you have any problems just let me know. I will try to have new shows up within 24 hours of air.

Munchkin has offered to continue to do this for a fee --- and Shack and I have decided that it's well worth what Munch is asking. I don't know how long it will take for this to get going --- likely a day or two at most --- but we know there's a problem and are working to fix it. Bob

Those individuals are definitely after my own heart.
RE: [vpFREE] Re: ultimate x poker
Games where aces + another pair are normally broken up are played as two
pair if you are max betting ultimate x as the full house causes a 12x and 2
pair is guaranteed 3x (vs 2x for the high pair) on the next deal.
A lot of 3 flushes are played as a made flush is 10x or 11x on the next hand
depending on the game. Also inside straights as makes generate 8x for the
next hand.
The strategies become difficult if starting with multipliers active since
current versus next hand is a very important issue. Because of this,
ultimate x is a near impossible game to play perfect since for 3 line there
is a total of 81 strategies based on multipliers and it gets much worse for
5 or 10 lines.
Of course on a 5 coin per line bet, normal strategy applies.

Does the game change your strategy for games that you would normally break 2
pair? Getting multipliers for subsequent hands might be advantageous.
Basically similar to how your change your strategy for multistrike games.

Ed, I couldn't agree more. I recall when all the old IGT wongables (Cherry Pie, Thermometer, Racing 7s, etc.) vanished virtually overnight from my area. It certainly wasn't due to lack of play - these machines were hugely popular with the general public. The only logical explanation I could think of at the time was that the casinos couldn't stand the thought of some AP making a few bucks from these games.

Re: [vpFREE] ultimate x poker
people who run casinos seem to be allergic on principle to anyone on their
property who can get any edge whatsoever.
Also potential negatives for tolerating slot and VP wonging:
1. The wongers will take the money off the property. Randoms patrons who
play the machines will likely put the gained EV back into the machine.
2. Wongers can cross the line and interact negatively with other patrons.
3. If a casino wants to create an upscale atmosphere, the presence of some
wonger types could tend to detract from that.
IMO it's silly to watch the machines like a hawk looking for people doing
this, but if security sees the same guy day in and day out banging on the
wongable machines, I would understand why they might ask him to leave.
