Ed, I couldn't agree more. I recall when all the old IGT wongables (Cherry Pie, Thermometer, Racing 7s, etc.) vanished virtually overnight from my area. It certainly wasn't due to lack of play - these machines were hugely popular with the general public. The only logical explanation I could think of at the time was that the casinos couldn't stand the thought of some AP making a few bucks from these games.
