Not a terrible article, but this is just moronic:
"There has never been a player, from Doc Holliday to jungleman12, who
can go head to head with the pain of poker and expect to come out with
a positive Expected Value. "
Re: [vpFREE] On Line Poker
[vpFREE] Free sometimes not so free...
We just took one of the 7 Star Experiences to Paris which included a nice
Romantic Spa package for 2, also dinner for $300 at the Eiffel Tower. Only
problem - tips are not included. The Spa package had a value of about
$500, so there was a mandatory 20% gratuity -- $99. Two attendants working
for 2 hours equals $25 per hour for them from tips. Seemed a bit high to me,
and you cannot use your Harrah's Points.
I have an invitation for an upcoming Harrah's Mothers Day event - 2 spa
treatments. Now I am going to check in advance to see if gratuity is included
or not. Nice event, but not worthwhile for me if I have to pay $100 in
mandatory tips.
The dinner at the Eiffel Tower was excellent, but again, tip not included
and not points not useable. At least I expected that one. (And the $300
credit couldn't be used for the tips.)
But it does seem to me that if Harrah's is going to offer a Freebie package
of some sort, their "free" dinner or spa or whatever should include the
gratuities too.
This is reminding me a bit too much of Harrah's new "free" or
"complimentary" cruise certificates, given out at various events or to 7 star people
now. You not only have to pay for gratuities, you have to pay port charges
and other fees, so you usually end up spending $300 or more per person for
your "freebie" (of course airfare isn't included either, but that is more
expected).

That looks right to me.
As of April 1st all three of the South LV Blvd. casinos will be at the same .3% rate, but Silverton will be the only one with just comps and free play, no cashback.

I'm sorry, but the terminology used in the teams differers greatly from what's used outside of them.
What does, "door to door payout service" mean?

Watch out, some machines may be slower than others. There is talk of turning down the point value on all their 99%+ machines.
I'll of course alert everyone if I hear for certain and Bob will likely talk about it on-air.

According to the April South Point mailer, points must be earned during April for this gas card promotion.
Re: [vpFREE] Silverton begins cashback April 1st
Yes. Too many "3"s confused me.

Re: [vpFREE] Silverton begins cashback April 1st
that gives.>>
If you aren't into formulas, here is an easy way to remember how to figure
slot club percentage EV once you know how many dollars it takes to earn a
point and how many points it takes to redeem a dollar in CB, FP, or comps.
Take the big number into the little one. (I'm good at Simple - remember I
used to teach slow learners English in high school and I have used that
experience to uncomplicate some math for VP players. That is also why I
requested a Slot Club Calculator in the FVP software!)
Use your calculator. 3 divided by 1000 is .003. Move decimal point two
places to get a percentage. You have .3%.

vpFREE database says 333 points equals $1 for both M and South Point. Is
that incorrect? I don't play at either place now so I have forgotten.

If $300 of play earns $1 in cash back, which I believe is true of the M and the South Point, then cash back is 1/3% (.333%).
