[vpFREE] M-life equivalent of caesars's diamond? (& DIAD)

hi there,

my caesars diamond in a day (DIAD) is expiring at the end of this month ... i'm looking at renewing it using VP (probably with two days' worth of play and the new tier bonus system), but before i do, i'm wondering if i shouldn't cross the street to M-life ...

i'm local, so my reasons for wanting diamond might be a bit different than the average card holder ... here's what i like about (and why i have) a casears diamond -- in order:

* free use of caesars property spas (yeah, yeah, not CP)

* the ability to park in any valet, even when "full"

* the ability to cut lines for WSOP registration and restaurants

* monthly free shows

i truly could not care less about any of the other amenities or benefits.

i'm not deeply familiar with the M-life levels, and a quick scan of their website doesn't show a 1-to-1-onto mapping of the four things i've listed above ... which means i have two questions:

1. is there an M-life equivalent of diamond that will give me any/all of the perks i've listed above?  (ignorning WSOP since that's a casears brand.)

2. if so, what's the quickest/least expensive way to hit that level and how long would it last?

thanks in advance for any/all information ... even just well educated guesses,

m.

PS as always, thanks to the VPFREE moderators and volunteers -present and past- for keeping this forum running!

[vpFREE] St. Louis

Other than checking the web site, has anyone any suggestions for a quarter
player for St. Louis? My guess is there aren't advantage machines but is
there, say, NSUD? 9-7 Double Bonus? Similar? I'll have the use of a car
and I'll be there for a week plus

[vpFREE] Re: LVH - Free play offer received

I had heard of Steve Cyr and his book(s):
http://www.amazon.com/Whale-Hunt-Desert-Secret-Superhost/dp/0929712919

Didn't know book centered around the LVH long time ago:
"...Hilton was the backdrop of superhost Steve Cyr's biography Whale Hunt in the Desert where his charm and quick thinking had high rollers choosing the old cougar over Venetian, Bellagio, and MGM..."

Info on their website says "5% bonus based on USD" and "Bonus limit $200 per day".

If LVH looks like a high roller place, suggest you go to Circus Circus.

I have not personally seen this Rampart Casino letter, but most of the
places where I have been restricted don't give us a reason. If they do, its
something vague like "this is a business decision".

too much!"

[vpFREE] Re: Casino oversight and the player's club?

I like your thinking but don't think you have a case. What you describe is probably just a form of targeted marketing.

But anyway, Nevada Gaming has oversight over just about everything a Nevada casino does. Isn't there language in the regs saying that Nevada casinos must act ethically in every way and not reflect poorly on the Nevada gambling industry.

If the state can decree that comp has monetary value that is subject to tax then I was thinking of the amassed damages casinos have done by shorting the players whom hey have dinged. It seems that a slot can't payout discriminatorily to different players, but changing the comp rate for playing the same game for two different players has seemingly done this if comps are legally and retroactively considered to have cash value, which Nevada has done even though it is still trying to assert this conclusively.

Yes the Wynn/Encore has this policy , but its not bundled into their
offers - you have to pay $25 x ( number of nights ) extra for this.
Considering how wonderful the Wynn fitness center/spa is, it's a bargain. I
once checked in for 3 nights at 8:15PM . Since it was late , I figured I
would not use the spa or internet for day 1, so I requested a 2 day package.
After deliberating with backroom for 15 minutes, and checking here and there
, the head clerk said - "Sorry sir, we figured out how to create the 8th
wonder of the world in the Wynn Encore, but we cannot figure out how to
charge a 2 day package for a 3 night stay !" That said , I rejected the
all-or-nothing offer .

[vpFREE] Re: Jean Scott's Frugal Vegas LVA BLOG - 10 MAR 2013

If it's handled like Stations Casinos, there is no AUTOMATIC charge for the
resort fee BUT if you choose to not pay it because you're entitled not to
then you get charged (without being told at the time) for using in room
internet or the spa. They let you know about the charge at checkout. Such
bullshit. I'm not saying this is how CEZ is doing it; I'm just saying that
avoiding the fee may not grant you free web access and spa access. We shall
find out.

[vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column - 12 MAR 2013

A "successful" player evaluates EV in terms of base game return, plus expected bounceback/incentives. Bob isn't talking about playing "the lower EV".

Don't know minimum requirement. Our normal action is $30K/day.
Used to be C2 at the Hilton back in the day.

It didn't look much like a high roller joint to me last time there :-)
