[vpFREE] Arizona Charlie's Boulder

Having a problem submitting on vpFree2, so here's the update.

9/6 JoB has been re-installed, albeit only for quarters

The bank of six machines near the Players Club which were Game Kings is now 25c 9/6 JoB, with a large sign overhead proudly proclaiming "over 99%, (only) $8 earns one point".

Re: [vpFREE] Loss Rebates

This would only be true if there were no fluctuation. Usually, if not
always, there's a time frame or a limit to the rebate. I wouldn't
want to try to answer bmather's question due to how much the answer
would vary depending on the parameters, but the general formula would
be the chance of losing times the average loss if there's a loss times
the % rebate. The higher the fluctuation of the game, the more
valuable it is and, in percentage terms, the shorter the term, the
more valuable it is. If there's a 10% loss rebate after each hand,
just about any game that pays back 95% or more would be an advantage.
If a million hands have to be played, it might approach your figure of
10% of the disadvantage.

Re: [vpFREE] Info when you cash a ticket

The point was missed. When you're audited, you're providing your gaming facts on your log to the auditor. Nothing is more important to them than what you put on that log. The IRS will believe those facts
because they are your word and it is suppose to be truthful. If you choose to lie then you are breaking the law and will be subject to penalties or worse. You can provide all the 3rd party info you want, but inaccuracies and mis-statements or out & out lies by that 3rd party will be of no consequence.

They may also select one or several entries, usually losses, and ask for support on where the money came from in order for you to have experienced the claimed loss. Here's where if you are not being truthful on the log it will start to bite you. If you start saying "I had the cash in the house" but you cannot support the loss entries with commensurate bank withdrawals or give other wishy-washy statements, the IRS can disallow those losses, you can do nothing about it per Tax Court case law precedence, and they can & will go over any and all entries with you in the same way.

If audits are only about the facts, they won't get them from gambling logs.

Gambling logs do not provide 'facts.' They only provide 'statements.'

[vpFREE] Blast from the past - when RIO was a top ten VP casino 1994

Looking back at my VP library I see that Bob Dancer writes a super article 17 years ago in the Video Poker Times. Oh the good old days when solid info was everywhere, and casino's lumped us VP players with dumb slot players...before frugal was widespread....

"The Rio has fourteen 2nd Chance Progressives machines -- ten for quarters, and four for dollars -- Just outside
Sonny's Deli. With very few changes from standard Jacks-or-Better strategy, these machines frequently offer over 101%
payback, and they can reach 105% or more if the progressive counter is high enough.... etc"

Re: [vpFREE] Loss Rebates

Wouldn't it be (100% - EV%) x 0.10?

So, if a game has a 95% EV, then a 10% loss rebate would make the new
EV 95.5%??

[vpFREE] Loss Rebates

Generally speaking, how much does a 10% loss rebate (uncapped) add to a VP game?

I would imagine it matters a bit the game you're playing, but I'm just trying to get a general idea of what it would add the return, if it's possible to calculate.

Well, the FPDW didn't accrue points...
and like you said, the Suites there are second to none! (OK, maybe to Atlantis, but only the TOP-TOP-TOP-TOP suite at Atlantis)

[vpFREE] Re: IPhone - IPad - Windows 7 software

Just a couple of small clarifications. iWinpoker no longer exists. The name is now just Winpoker. Secondly, there is a version just for the iPad called WinpokerHD and that is a separate product from the iphone version, although the iphone version will run on the ipad. The only difference I can see is the ipad version has 50 and 100 play, and WinpokerHD runs in all orientations.
