[vpFREE] AC reopening?

 

Got an email from my junket operator, saying that Caesars AC is planning to reopen on June 19, and they have their first charter plane scheduled for the same day.  I cannot imagine being one of the first back in.  I expect a potential deluge of people with cabin fever coming in from the surrounding hotspots  No offense to anyone in those areas!  Just any crowd in general makes me uneasy at this point.

 

It will be interesting to see if this really happens and hear what it's like if some braver souls from this group do check things out.

I doubt I will be returning to Las Vegas much at all anymore. This was like the final nail in the coffin for me. With the loss of most positive plays and the negative effect on my tax situation it is just not worth it anymore. I will miss the good meals, the pools, the spas etc. but the gambling, not so much.

Jean, right now we all are experiencing major changes in our lives, so I think everyone can sympathize. Gaming, of course, included. It will be interesting to see if attendance at casinos recovers by next year. How many people have learned that they can live without gambling. On a personal note, I received an invitation by Harrah's Cherokee to attend their re-opening on Monday. I'm sure there will be a ton of changes. Social distancing among machines, employees wearing masks. hopefully guests wearing masks, reduced attendance (only 30%, that's why by invite), what will restaurants and food courts be like, how will money not be handled at cashier, will complimentary drinks be served? It's very interesting to know I'll be entering a new world outside the home, the "new normal." For once, for me, gambling is not the top priority.  Lol.
