Re: [vpFREE] How Important Is The Bottom Line ?

If you put thru $500K annually suggets you seek out a host at the Borgata as in all Vegas Boyd Properties have found th eservices of a host invaluable. I am sure they woul dstart you off at casino rate and work your way up to comps and more depending on your play per trip.

I am a .25 JB player most of the time with over half a mil put thru
annually. I used to play at an AC casino that was very generous with their offers.
Though their buffet was terrible and their club was even worse I played their
because I was way ahead in the money department. The ambience sucked too.

Their offers and CB began to dwindle so I sought out another place to play.
I chose the Borgata because the place was top class in food and overall
appearance. The stickler is they are among the least generous when it comes to
slot dollars and all other offers. There is no cash back at all.

I continue to go simply because they inventory my machines in abundance and
the food is excellent. The floor servers are easy on the eyes also.

My question is would you be willing to sacrifice better offers for a
classier casino that you enjoyed frequenting? I do.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: LVA Question of the Day - 2 MAR 2008

A lot has been written and will have to find the websites about the quality of tap water perhaps being equal to many bottled waters without all the plastic bottles ending up in landfills. A fast one may have been put over us by many in the bottled water industry to sell their product ( I drink it too as the cocktail waitress brings it when you requets water) creating the thought that tap water is unfit. I am sure that the case is the sam ein most places tap water and bottled water can be good or bad and tests seem to indicate this.

Katy, I do the same thing. Yes, there is a fine line between "cheap" and
"frugal." I consider this "frugal" because it only is a bother for myself.
I consider something "cheap" if it is a bother or imposition for someone

Re: [vpFREE] Re: GVR $1,$2,$5 NSU Deuces MultiStrike (100.02% with the 0.1% cashback)

One factor is missing here and I believe needs to be mentioned here. The casinos are not in existence to provide you a livelihood unless you are actually on the payroll. If they offer a promotion or game where you can make money, as we all do, myself definitely included, we are just using promotions an dpolaying wisely, but they don't owe us a living. If by the fact we win or lose less than most players and they benefit due others thinking they can win this is good for all of us, but casinos, as in any other business, or beholded to their shareholders, assuming that they ar ein full compliance with the law in all their operations.

The casino management would be PERFECTLY happy if the pros just
disappeared, and their advertising attracted only recreational
players. This is a very different situation from more ordinary jobs.

The management of the company I work for, as well as the customers,
would NOT be happy if I disappeared. The management willing pays me
to do my job because they think I'm doing something of value to them.
Likewise with the customers who patronize the company: they value the
service I help to provide, and therefore willingly make the purchases
that ultimately pay my wages.

The people who make the gambling pro's job possible (the casino
management and patrons) are at best indifferent to them. None of
these people would care if the pros disappeared. None of them feel
that the pro is providing something of value to them. This makes the
job of a gambling pro very different from other jobs.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: xvp - 40,000 patients in Las Vegas possibly exposed to Hepat...

If u are correct then there are no rights of any kind. It would seem to be fair that everyone should be given the chance to be as healthy as anyone else. While many medical problems are preventable (smoking, for example)many are not. Health care should be like the police dept or the library, paid by taxes, not a matter of ones financial success or lack thereof. HR676 would cost employer/employe 4.75% each and a small tax on the upper 1% of earners. If you take a person earning 50K, 4.75% = $2,375. For example, accordinging to many I have "good" insurance but here is what I pay, dental $50 deductible, 50% co pay on an implant (and I take good care of my teeth but as you get older you need dental work) costing at least $1250 out of pocket due insurance covering 50%, $15 per MD visit @ 4 x's per year for (age 58), prescription co pays, about $120/year, $75 pe rmonth = $600 per year deducted from my paycheck for health care, $100 co pay for progressive lenses (bi focals not
workeable for me), and my employer pays out about $6000 for me which if we split this qually my Company could save $6,000 - $2375 = $3625 which if we split it half for them half for me I owuld get more per year. There is no way that single payer would not be an improvement over our present system. Note 50% of bankruptcies are due medical bills.

By the way, if you are not alreayd aware another hospital in Vegas has now been reported for reusing syringes, etc. it is one thing that years ago they were put in a sterilizer of extremely hot water and sterilized for reuse but this wasn;t the case here.

Socialized medicine is a good thing, we have just been brainwashed to oppose it!

Re: [vpFREE] Station Downgrades

If what you said was true there would be a waiting line like when the dealt
progressive is over 25K. The NSU paytables were recently reduced to Bonus 8/5.
Most recent change at Boulder is they switched the quarter and nickel side.
Look for both sides to be nickels soon. Video Poker is in the dumpster, no
getting around it.

I'm not the brightest light on the Xmas tree I know but why I wonder do the
guys with much larger bankrolls than I keep saying "I'm going to play
someplace else because of the downgrades?" Or, "Let's vote with our feet and go
someplace else" Duh? how many "someplace elses" are there left?

[vpFREE] Stations and other Reversables - A -10 at the corners, hold both or????

Look at it this way! If you hold the AT and you get the 3 intermediate cards in the right place, you will be estatic, if you only hold the A and the other 3 come up in order, oh well?

Assuming you will get a royal (conditional probability) there are 3X2X1 way for those 3 cards to fit in the middle thus 1/6 of the time that you get a royal with the A -10 on the outside will it be sequential (remember this is only if you get the royal) as from the get go the chance of a sequential in either direction is 1/60 (assuming again you get the royal) but you all know what assume means -FTWD (for those who don't) assume = ass u me -This is one case where the psychological play might be better than the mathematical play? I know when there are runners at the corners (1st and 3rd) I go for the hit (i.e., A-10 either direction on the outside) I play for it.

If I have misse danything please let me know. Thanks
