They said "well, you are already booked into a 2 bedroom suite. Is that okay?" Um, yeah, that's great (never had a 2 bedroom suite!).
I would always get the name of the host and ask them to send me an e-mail with the details they told me and of course, the confirmation number. I had a 2 bedroom suite in the Roman Tower once (after the rooms were updated) and it was quite nice with multiple bathrooms and multiple jetted tubs, one which was very large and deep. Before the Augustus and Octavian Towers were built, I stayed in the Palace Tower, sometimes with a Junior Suite (2 bathrooms but one bedroom), almost exclusively and I prefer the jetted tubs there over the Augustus Tower ones.
Call back and speak with the same host to verify that's it's imperative that your friends will be accomodated, too, one way or another.

[vpFREE] Re: Jackpot Pictures - NOV 2011
A few weeks ago there was a discussion here about drawing four and
getting a royal. I wrote in to say I had done that twice and oddly,
both times the royal was in clubs. Yesterday at Pala in so. cal. I
kept a queen and drew the other four for a dollar royal. Oh, yeah, of
course it was clubs. I don't bother with pictures but wish I could
have taken a pic of this one.

Re: [vpFREE] Room selection at CPLV (or any CET property)...will I get what I was told?
I would request a room in the Augustus (or Octavian, if it is open yet) Tower with a south strip view. Sometimes in the summer I have preferred Palace Tower because of its proximity to the pool.

[vpFREE] Re: LVH-Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Inventory Update
"LVH" is better than Hilton in a way. The Hilton name used to be important for the convention/travelling crowd. Hope it works for them.
I read Goldman-Sachs is running the show; management will be changing (again) and Elvis has still left the builidng.
We avoided LVH FPJB as the theo was extremely low. They got FPJoker, NSUD and FPLDW. It's an interesting mix of locals and visitors.

[vpFREE] Room Selection CET...getting what was told
Sorry for the goof about only having half a message....
And, long time no post, but still hoping for help....
Have not been to Vegas in over 2.5 years (had a baby, things change...LOL). However, we have made some day trips to Rincon locally and earned approx 2000 pts on 2 occasions and over 3000 on one. We got DIAD on that 3000 pt trip. (Oh, slot player...yes, yes, I know....)
Anyway, we scheduled a trip for 12/2 at CPLV. Booked online for Palace Tower Deluxe (comped 2 nights). Then some friends decided they wanted to come. We called casino host and asked if we could get a discounted room for friends. They said "well, you are already booked into a 2 bedroom suite. Is that okay?" Um, yeah, that's great (never had a 2 bedroom suite!).
What worries me is that we will show up and they'll say "oops, sorry, only have a twin bed room in the Roman Tower and not sure where your husband or friends will sleep."
I thought they assigned rooms upon arrival based upon pecking order...any experience with this? Should we worry? We love our friends but really would rather have some separation bedroom-wise!
Thanks in advance!

The Hard Rock LV seems to be one of those casinos that doesn't distinguish between slot machines and video poker in their promo rules. They just say "slots" meaning both slot machines and video poker. For example, the rules for their current swipe and win say that you must earn so many "slot points", but video poker is definitely eligible.

Re: [vpFREE] Sick One says "No Jackpot for You"
"it's at least good to know that Sick One can decide
not to pay you your $20,000 royal flush jackpot because, you see, they
annointed you EXCLUDED between hand # 40,389 and 40,390, and you are "no

Did that actually happen?

[vpFREE] Very Minor Change to Majestic Star 1 Database.
In my comments for the 25c bar top progressive for the Majestic Star 1 (Gary
IN), I previously mentioned the possibility of played Triple Pay Plus under
the right conditions.
25c Triple Play Plus is no longer eligible for the three way progressive, so
my comment about it has been removed from the database.

[vpFREE] Sick One says "No Jackpot for You"
Sycuan Casino in East San Diego county has always strived to be a leader in
corrupt and dishonest practices, from their early days of cheating
customers with marked card decks in the 1990's. In keeping with that
tradition of disregard for state and federal laws, they have now issued
this mighty interesting disclaimer in the promotions section of their
website:
*Barred or excluded individuals are not eligible for FREEplay offers,
promotions or *jackpot winnings*.
Aside from the lack of a precise definition of and relationship between the
two terms (is barred a subset of excluded? Or is excluded a softer form of
barred? Or . . . ), it's at least good to know that Sick One can decide
not to pay you your $20,000 royal flush jackpot because, you see, they
annointed you EXCLUDED between hand # 40,389 and 40,390, and you are "no
longer eligible to receive jackpot winnings at this time".
Perhaps one could ask for a declaratory ruling on your status in advance?
"Can I help you?"
"Would you look up my account? Before I play, I'd like to know if I'm
barred, excluded, or platinum."
