According to the comments in vpFREE2, those were downgraded more than two years ago.

[vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column - 12 FEB 2013

When I was on the Spin Poker Joker play in Ely, Nevada there was a cheating scandal in the drawings. There were two drawings per week. Ten winners a night and you could only win once. When your name was called you went up to the booth and picked up your envolope of money-then you were required to reach into the drum and pull a ticket for the next winner.

There was another well known pro who used to write for video poker times on the play. He's the one that busted out the cheaters. I never noticed the pattern of name calling but he did. The cheat went something like this. I'll call the cheaters Larry, Curly and Moe. Whichever got his name called first the other two names would be called behind him.

If Larry's name was called then the next name called would be Curly or Moe. If it was Curly then Moe would be called behind him.

They were palming tickets and reaching down into the drum and coming up with the palmed ticket.

Doug picked up on the pattern and told the casino manager who put an end to the cheater's careers at the Hotel Nevada.

[vpFREE] Las Vegas club Joker Poker

There are 6 or 7 slants/uprights(FP 20-7) in the classic section, North west corner of the casino floor. Joker Poker face plates. They take bills in but it is quarters coin drop out. Some are fast, some are painfully slow. Still fun:)

Re: [vpFREE] Double Super Times Play

FYI... its not a positive game, unless you add in slot club bennies. The
best I've seen in Vegas is the 8/5 bonus ( 99.7 ) and in AC its the
9/5 jacks ( 99.0 ). For the locations, videopoker.com should tell you , and
the wizard has an analysis of the game. There is no change in strategy. A
good starting number, for 8/5 bonus five play (which is a low volatility
game,) I'd use the rule of 40 which is
40 X 35 = 1400 coins session bankroll.
regards...Tom

PS - the game is much more fun than the normal STP poker.

[vpFREE] Double Super Times Play

I most likely am way behind the times on this, but I've just heard of a game called double super times pay - multipliers before and after the deal or something like that, 7 coins in for full pay, reportedly positive EV.

Can anyone tell me more about it -- or give me the link to someplace to learn. I assume that, like STP, it is the same playing strategy as the underlying game you select. I am interested in the actual EV if Jacks or Better is the underlying game, and the variance compared to single-line Jacks or Better.

I know that in "regular" super times play, part of the increased EV is from the royal flush with a 15x (or other) multiplier, which of course is going to be a fairly uncommon event, therefore the higher variance.

Finally, is there a chart telling where it is available; it is my understanding that it is fairly limited availability.
