 For future reference, if you're pretty sure it's a heart attack, call 911 and leave the door open so they can get in if you're unable to answer by then.  You might not get to the hospital before you need care (could even lose consciousness in your car while parking there).  The EMTs can begin care, including resuscitation if needed, immediately on arrival, and they can usually get there faster with their siren and lights than you could get to the hospital.

If you are pretty sure it's something else (and that can be a tough call), and you feel like you can drive to the hospital safely, I suppose you could give it a try.

Remember, most of us would prefer not to have an accident on the way in, possibly injuring or killing someone else, and delaying our own care.

Correct.

However, your account indicates you are getting the Daily Digest which
is going to be
discontinued according to Yahoo's announcements. You can either switch
to Individual
Emails or just read the posts here:
