[vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's $800 An Hour Play

It's harder than most games. But the multiplier-independent strategy (99.82% for 9/6 DDB) isn't that much more difficult than Triple Double Bonus, imo. To squeeze out the last 0.05% of the return given the current multiplier state, now that's a challenge! And yes, variance on this is very rough, so I wouldn't want to touch it either.

[vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column - 4 JUN 2013

Speaking for myself I am too old to be riding the casino bus with $5K.
Problem is a check on the credit report drops the credit rating.

I also have never used casino credit--not due to fears from divorce or the possibility of other such collateral damage--but because I view it as being the same type of casino tool used in their favor as those ATM's & Cash Advance machines are. And while there are, in my opinion, some very small reasons to utilize this service, borrowing money from any casino to help fix any short-term financial problem is not one of them.

The mathematically challenged out there should know that this statement is
completely false and completely discredits anything else this person says.

Now there's something I can agree with. It's not what you play, it's how you play it....and what your "per hour" results were when you get up to leave.

There are alternatives to playing good games too.

There are alternatives to playing good games too.

So you have quarter FPDW in this casino? Big Deal. If anyone comes looking for me I'll be in the poker room.

You're gonna put dollar FPDW in? Big deal. I can make that much an hour in the poker room without the variance.

What? You're gonna put $5 FPDW in? You know, I'm starting to get a powerful hankering to play some video poker.

[vpFREE] Re: Nevada Assembly Bill 10

Just curious - I assume the statute defines "devices" and does NOT include strategy cards -- obviously these are available for both VP and blackjack and are widely used in the latter by novices. While I know they are tolerated, I don't know if they are technically illegal.

When I hit my first royal, I was frequently referring to my strategy card, and was scared to death they'd deny me payment when they reviewed the tapes and saw I was doing so (but no problem occurred).

In spite of the widespread ban on cameras in casinos, it's obvious, with most cell phones having a camera, that people are taking photos of their wins and apparently either aren't being caught, or are let off with a warning (don't know what else they would likely do).

This was signed into law yesterday by Governor Sunny:

■ Assembly Bill 10, which adds "software" to the lists of devices that
customers may not possess in casinos to gain advantage in gaming.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Tuscany Casino Marketing Director Change

Based on the photo, I mean resume, I'm sure marketing mistakes won't be a big problem for her.

FWIW, Spotlight 29 has some of the weakest marketing promotions in SoCal from my recent experience. One of these is low value tournament events.

I hope my concerns are proven wrong.
