RE: [vpFREE] Re: Scot Krause's Slot Club Spotlight - 21 APR 2015

What about the most important information about each slot club you describe,i.e. mailer-free play & other comps, and coin in required to attain these benefits?

Mailers are based on your play. Coin-in requirements are listed in the article:

Marquee Rewards players earn points based on the games chosen, the duration they play and average bet made. Under Marquee Rewards, $1 coin-in equals 1 point and 333 points is $1 in value.

Marquee Rewards: 0-9,999 earned points

Celebrity: 10,000-29,999 earned points

Producer: 30,000-124,999 earned points

Executive Producer: 125,000-399,999 earned points

Icon: 400,000 and over earned points

Yes, these are still benefits. Most properties have unlimited movies. Some properties limit you to 2 or 3 movies per day.

[vpFREE] Re: I found a mistake

Doesn't necessarily sound like a "mistake", maybe they just set up a decent paytable. With no slot points, it's essentially a break-even play. That is, if you learn how to play 965DB with a double royal correctly.

Too bad it's not a progressive that re-sets at $8K. Then you'd have something.

I was scouting a local casino and found a db 965 with the royal set at $8,000.00, It DOES have a double down feature, but on the glass it says $8,000.00. If you punch in "see pays" it says five coins, at the one dollar level, pays $8,000.00. I punched the pays into wp and it said it returns 100.094. You get NO slot points at this casino. Is this worth playing? If you did hit the royal, would they pay off the full amount? This is a first to me..Rod

RE: [vpFREE] Bob Dancer's LVA - 21 APR 2015

Well written and well reasoned. With plays diminishing to nearing nothing, a strategy like this needs to be implemented.

Scary. I agree with this, and do the same thing. Although in my case I used to lock up machines for the reason that there weren't a lot

of machines with good paytables where I went, and they were multidenominational. So if I left a machine I was playing, a nickel player would get on it playing 1 coin at a time and I wouldn't get back on for hours. I always locked it up.

[vpFREE] Re: COLA?

The percentage of increase the casinos have reaped from increasing basic
machines from $.25 to $1.00 and then on top of that decreasing basic
machine pay tables from 9/6 JoB to 8/5 JoB is WAY out of proportion to the
COLA. COLA would be a very small part of the equation. The biggest factor
is the lack of luster to the general public that gambling once had; they no
longer seek it out as exciting and different, it's usual and blaze...found
near every town in the USA (or even on your couch with an iPad).
