What we don't know is if they will adjust the pay tables on these machines. As most of you know a machine that may have 9/5 Jacks at one casino, can be changed at any time to be either a better game or a worse game, or a different game altogether. Therefore there is the possibility, however unlikely, that the replacement machines will not be a downgrade.

When we left on 5/21 the 25¢ & $1.00 Progressives were still there but
according to a lot of the floor people every machine that was a coin dropper on
the second floor would be gone. The only remaining machine would be the
Horse Racing machine. There will be no more coin droppers on the in The D.
Whatever they put in, I sure hope they don't start piping the downstairs
music upstairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are they replacing them with from Riviera? I remember some slant-tops
that had progressive for 9-7 DB and 9-6 DDB, (I think), that had good
meters. Are those gone too?

Yes, it is true. All coin droppers upstairs in The D will be gone shortly.
While we were there, May 13 - 20, 35 machines were removed & the ones they
bought from the Riv were installed. All those GOOD poker machines will be
gone soon. The only coin dropper that will be left will be the Horse Race
machine.
I'm in deep mourning over the loss of the 5 cent LDW machine. I've played
it for years & years.
