The Palace Station has a row of 5-coin quarters. The Texas Station
used to have quarters and nickels and I think the nickels are still
there by the buffet.

Thanks for the info about Red Rock. We won't be going there this trip but
we will be going to Fiesta Henderson and they used to have this game. Hope

The design of a slot machine is tricky. If it paid out too much, the house would go broke. If it paid out to little, clients would learn to avoid it. Somewhere between those extremes is an optimal point (from the POV of the house). The trick is to find that point.

There is a related issue: For a given payback percentage, should the machine be configured to make lots of small payouts, or fewer but larger payouts?

I would suppose slot machine designers pay a lot of attention to all this. But maybe not.

[vpFREE] Harrahs Resort So Ca (Rincon)

 

I checked the data base for them and it seems no good plays for us. I will arrive soon after they have a Native American marijuana conference. Hope they clean up the place. Will use it as a jumping off point. Any heads up on what to expect with hotel room? Website states no coolers. Do they monitor luggage and is ice available on various floors like in Las Vegas? Thanks
Last time we were there was mid 2011 or 2012.
