Opinions vary all the time when gaming rankings are discussed. I rate the Silverton as #1 in video poker right now. South Point is right up there and the Cosmo is OK, but the Palms stinks in my opinion.

If you click on "About Rankings" on the vpFREE2 Rankings page, you will see an explanation of how the rankings are derived. As Vegasvpplayer just wrote, they are not based on each casino's video poker offerings, but on the number of times that casino's pages have been viewed by users of vpFREE2.
Here's a direct link to the explanation: http://www.vpfree2.com/rankings/about
Note there's a link there to supply feedback to them about the rankings.

Vpfree2 ranking are based on database hits. Cosmo is a new casino so it gets a lot of browsing.

[vpFREE] vpfree2 rankings
The Cosmopolitan is ranked as having the best video poker in Las Vegas --- and anywhere. The best game listed in 99.11% 9-7 Double Bonus!!! Which knowledgeable player would consider this the best video poker? I would not include that casino in the top 20 in Las Vegas. The next two in the rankings, Palms and South Point, are reasonable --- although I believe they should be 1 and 2 rather than 2 and 3. I personally would rank South Point slightly higher than Palms, but opinions can vary on that and a case can be made either way. But ranking either of these inferior to the Cosmopolitan with respect to best video poker is outrageous. The Cosmo ad is the first one listed in Las Vegas and even in East Coast casinos --- so perhaps the Cosmo bought their ranking with advertising dollars. I would hope that vpfree2 would rank casinos based on the games and slot club and not on whether or not they buy ads, but I guess I'm being naive. Bob

RE: [vpFREE] Re: LV Advisor Top Ten Values - DEC 2011
Yes, the Orleans inventory has changed. I know these probably won't interest
you personally, Bob, although others would be, but a few years ago they
added four banks of better 25c games like 99.81% DBDW and NSUD. And they now
have two separate banks of quarter 3 play progressives. All this is in
vpFREE2.com.
And according to the Orleans website, among other goodies, their senior day
includes 7x points from 7am - 7 pm.
---I saw Bob there not too long ago on the 5 play multi-strikes. I think it
was a bonus points day if I recall.

And then there is a 3000 point cap on VP multipliers, so that would mean this would be a short time, positive expectation game as well.
Each of the Coast properties senior days have different parameters. At Gold Coast, on multiplier days 10,000 base points (or 50,000 total points on a 5x day) for video poker and 100,000 base points for slots are multiplied. If you play $5 or higher, it's indeed a shor time, but if you play 25c or lower, you can be there all day without reaching the maximum. They have a LOT of 99.5%+ machines and none over 100%. Sam's Town (on Thursdays) has no caps on points on multiplier days. They have fewer 99.5%+ machines than Gold Coast has, but some of the ones they have return more than 100% --- 25c FPDW, 25c and $1 10/7 DB --- which require $2 coin-in for one point. If you include the value of the senior drawing at Sam's Town, 25c FPDW is NEVER the highest EV 25c play on Thursdays. One or more of the four separate 9/7 DB progressives will always return more EV-wise --- although 9/7 DB progressive is MUCH harder to play well than FPDW. Suncoast offers very few decent games --- but their inventory includes 9/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe up to $5. If you have the gall to play this game for these stakes on a big multiplier day, however, you will be kicked out. It's a strange way to run a casino --- but that's the way it's done there. I haven't played at the Orleans for a while, but the Senior Day there was only 4x points and except for one bank of quarter Triple Play progressives (where the only reasonable game to play is 9/7 DB) there is nothing really playable at only 4x points. Maybe their inventory has changed. Bob

[vpFREE] Re: LV Advisor Top Ten Values - DEC 2011
Pardon the ignorance about Coast Casinos' Senior's Day Multipliers, but this will be my first trip to Vegas AS a Senior, so I'm paying extra attention...
So as I read the fine print on B Connected, VPFREE2 and Values list, if I play VP on Monday at Gold Coast, for example, I would get 5X Points on VP,and considering only Cashback (.1%, in this case X5), any game with payback of 99.5% or better would be come any even or positive play (comps notwithstanding). And then there is a 3000 point cap on VP multipliers, so that would mean this would be a short time, positive expectation game as well.
Of course slot points count double, so all I have to do is find a slot machine that I know pays 98% or better, and the same would apply, RIGHT?? (sorry attribute that last one to Vegas countdown fever and/or Christmas humor)
Pardon the ramblings, but I have listened and/or read Jean Scott, Bob Dancer and will be watching all the ACG video podcasts on the flight down, so I'm getting pretty intense for my pilgrimage!!
Thanks again to all of you for all of your positive (no pun intended, or maybe so) comments throughout the year!!!!
Bababooey to y'all!!!!!!!
