JC asked: I think I remember reading that you could play 9/6 JB strategy on 10/7 DB and the return would equal the 9/6 JB return.
Is this correct. Don't want to try to introduce her to DB this soon.
Not exactly. Using 9/6 JoB strategy on 10/7 DB actually returns a bit more than using the same strategy on 9/6 JoB. I haven't looked at the number in years, but I think it was something like 99.62% The variance of DB remains quite a bit higher than the variance of JoB. Unless you have the stomach for the ups and downs, the games are not interchangeable. Bob

[vpFREE] 9/6 JB strategy on 10/7 DB
Currently teaching 9/6 JB to a new VP player. We will be in Las Vegas later this month where I will be playing 10/7 DB.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Singapore - any one know what the gaming is like at Marina Bay Sands?
Very little VP, Blackjack or craps. Furious gaming on a number of strange games.
Be sure to check out the infinity pool on the roof. It's awesome.

[vpFREE] Re: Borgata points minimum
If you did not earn 10 comp dollars in a day, you will not get any slot dollars for the day. 10 to 11 comp dollars earns 5 slot dollars. 12 comp dollars earns 6 slot dollars. There were no changes in this policy as of last week.

Fortunately you read the line with good nature and rolled with it. I get inspired by things I hear, see, or read. I have a couple of buddies I write about a LOT. I call them different names each time. Each time they read one of my columns theywonder if they inspired it. Generally they are grateful when I write about something else. I'm sure they are quite happy to give Mick his turn this week. Bob

I took no offense, Bob. Stacking boxes or digging ditches was great therapy for a loose calling poker player. No kidding, at the poker table, I actually thought about winding up back at the day labor office if I loose called my money off.
Incidentally, here's a Danny Negreanu rant you might not have seen before:

[vpFREE] Re: ADVANTAGE SLOTS
TRIPLE DIAMOND BASEBALL-A game from the IGT Vision Series. Click on the link, then click on the Triple Diamond Baseball machine to enlarge it. Then mouse the enlarged version to get a better look.

You can see the meter in the top right hand corner of the LCD screen sitting on zero. There are three men on base. There are symbols on the third reel representing singles, doubles, triples and home runs. The meter climbs as those symbols land on the line and you drive runs in. Catch the home run symbol on the line and you get all the coins in the meter.
I would spin the play off betting one coin at a time when I found it with 25 or 30 coins in the meter.
