RE: [vpFREE] A Video Poker Related Slot Question

This payout schedule (courtesy of american casino guide) should help answer your denomination question.

http://www.americancasinoguide.com/slot-machine-payback-statistics.html#Nevada

I know most multi denom machines in AC have different pay schedules within the same machine but I can not speak directly to those in Vegas.

Hopr this helps some.

Remember ..... life is only what you make it. Never settle for second best.

Sorry for the slot questions, but video poker players are

required to make some slot choices!

Thanks,

[vpFREE] A Video Poker Related Slot Question

A local casino has a CB multiplier. They have been increasing
the multiplier each month to match the number of the month.
For example, it was 9 in September. The last 3 months of the
year it will be 10, 11 and 12. These multipliers are limited
to two specific days each week.

However, they made another change for the last 3 months. Now
you will only be able to play the CB earned on certain slots
machines. Previously you could take it as cash or free play
on any machine (video poker or slots). There are a number of
slot choices, but most are there lower denomination machines.

The problem now is to guess what would be the best slot machines
to use for the last three months of the year.

Any slot suggestions would be helpful. The following guidelines
have been suggested.

1 Pick a machine with the smallest top payout. For example, 4,000
max coin payout vs a machine with 25,000 or higher. You will get
fewer pulls, but maybe a better short term returns since the infrequent large payout hand needs to be accounted for in all
the other pulls

2 Pick the highest denomination machine. You will get less pulls,
but maybe the higher denominations are set at higher returns.
Is this a good general assumption?

3. Pick a machine with no, or as small as possible, penalty for playing less than max coins. For example, a 2,000 highest coins
payout for a one coin bet and a highest payout of 4,000 or 5,000
coin payout for a 2 coin max play bet.

Are these good suggestions? Are there any other ideas?

Unfortunately, even some of these ideals can only seem to applied
on the older real type games. Is there anyway to analyze some
of the newer video games?

My last question concerns one specific set of machines. The
only $1 play machine available are some Double/Triple Wild
Cherry machines. They have multiple play choices of $.25, $.50
and $1 play option on the "same" machine. Would the return be
the same for each denomination, or could one expect the $1
return to be set higher than the $.50 play and even higher
than the $.25 selection on the same machine? It is a 2 coin
max bet with 5,000 coins for 2 coins and 2,000 for one coin.

These machines are the only $1 or higher play option available.
The $1 play option might have slipped through since there are
also lower denomination choices on these machines.

Sorry for the slot questions, but video poker players are
required to make some slot choices!

Thanks,
Larry

RE: [vpFREE] Re: dealt royal

A dealt royal story from the Horseshoe Hammond. There are two fifty play $ machines with multi games in the high limit room. The pay tables are the same if you play one line or several.

A gentleman was playing several lines (maybe ten) and accidently pressed "max bet" - yes! he was dealt a royal worth $200,000.

Sometimes a mistake is good.

Mike

LVA Question of the Day - 19 OCT 2012

Q: You gave out New England under 12 wins and San Francisco
under 10 wins at the beginning of the year. Now you've
recommended betting both teams to win their conferences at
+250. You flip-flop more than Romney in a gun debate.
