Ok.but then the police escort to your lawful belongings should come into
play I would think?

If you are trespassed from the property, that generally includes the hotel
desk and elevators and parking garage and anything else on casino property,
possibly also the sidewalks if they are private property. There was at least
one case of a gambler who was jumped by security while he was on the
sidewalk thinking he was outside of the property. If you are only trespassed
from the casino floor or from any gambling activity, that could be a fine
line that allows access to other stuff on the property. Of course the casino
employee who told you that you were only trespassed from the casino floor
could later lie and say he told you it was from anything on the property.
Casinos are dangerous places, many down and out gamblers think they have the
right to get cash to support their habits by any means necessary and casinos
hire ex-cons, in the case of Jerry's Nugget the general manager is
technically not an ex-con since he was never even charged, but he admitted
to cheating a casino. Isn't it nice to know that in Nevada a person who
cheats a casino can get a second chance and get his gaming license back if
he's "redeemed" (contributed to the appropriate "charities")?

I'm sorry, but I can't help conjuring up images of myself xeroxing this article and putting it on every car's windshield in the Jerry's Nugget parking lot. Of course, I'd probably want to wear my running shoes.

Just kidding, Angelo! Just a joke, heh! Oh I crack myself up sometimes.

[vpFREE] Re: The Non Sequitur of Progressives

I was not referring to a progressive one plays at 104%. Walking off the M is no big deal as most of the win is in immediate expectancy.

In the old days we would get on high MR progressives at 100% and play only for the amount the meter would progressive as our profit.

There was a time when we even played the 2% Hilton at 99% and gave up half the MR win. In scenarios like this one would not wish to pump the meter up and then leave.

Those scenarios may no longer exist. I was waxing nostalgic.

I would think that if they were tossing you it would only be from the casino
and not the hotel. If both, then I would think a police escort to your room
to retrieve your possessions would be in order.

This is very good information.

What should you do if you have a room at the casino that tresspasses you?
And in the room a locked safe with valuables?

Juries have been extremely sympathetic to customers in this situation. Casino security may not have always treated me as well as they could have, but I've never lost property because of it. Maids have taken more from my rooms than they have.

In my mind, the first issue is do they want your business. If the answer is no, which they have the right under current Nevada law to reject any customer for any reason including race, creed, age, sex or religion, then your next question is what about the comps that are currently on your card and earned from previous play? If they will cash them, fine, if not, call gaming, because gaming will usually defend your right to your earned comps. If they get physical (as minimal as place a hand on you), you may have to assert your right to leave and call gaming from across the street. This happens frequently and a gaming officer can escort you back into a casino to redeem your comps even if you have been trespassed. Otherwise, if they don't want your business, your next step
