Re: [vpFREE] Re: Comps and taxes

Just an FYI. I've dined at TGI Friday's at Gold Coast and Sun Coast the last couple of days.  Was charged tax at Gold Coast, but not at Sun Coast.

I'm no lawyer but I think it's a modification to an existing law:

[vpFREE] Re: Tunica Roadhouse

Bump. Got to Tunica recently, and found these two uprights that you referenced, rreid.

They are still there, and you missed out on checking out a bunch of other good games on those machines or they added them after you left! :D

Those two units offer:
8/5 Super Aces (99.94%)
99.92% Joker Wild - 2 pair
99.92% Triple Deuces Wild
9/5 Triple Bonus Plus (99.8%)
9/5 Super Double Bonus (99.69%)
9/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe (99.64%)
9/7 Triple Double Bonus (99.58%)
9/6 Jacks or Better (99.54%)
99.45% Bonus Deuces Wild
8/5 Bonus Poker (99.17%)
9/7 Double Bonus (99.11%)
9/6 Double Double Bonus (98.98%)

Unfortunately, 40/10/6 DDB (99.96%) and APDW (99.96%) are gone. The best DDB game left is 9/6 DDB w/Super Times Pay (99.26% w/STP).

I sent an update to VPFree2 about this and a few other Tunica casinos. I was pleasantly surprised that the casino wasn't totally decimated. :D

Currently they are running a million dollar giveaway promotion between the three Harrah's Tunica properties (Horseshoe, Roadhouse and Harrah's) every Saturday night. There was speculation by the locals I spoke to that they were downgraded due to the promotion. That could be, but somehow I doubt they will be upgraded after the promotion ends. We did see someone win a million dollars on Saturday night.

[vpFREE] Re: Revel Bet

Bob, there are two reports on the Wizard of Vegas site by two players who claim their Revel player's cards were revoked yesterday after they had played. One claims a win, the other a loss of over 10K. The poster who lost claims he was told he is not eligible for the rebate.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Boyd Properties

As far as multipliers go, gold coast, orleans, and Sams town occasionally have 7x, or 0.7% cb occasionally, maybe once per month. This month every Monday as well has multipliers, highest card level is 7x. Suncoast runs 7x multipliers literally 3-4 days a week every week regardless of your card level. I found that playing multiple properties actually hurt my offers, so pick one, if you want to play FPDW then sams town is your only choice. Don't bother with the downtown properties if your a local, they sent me a little bit when I tested the waters but was more or less a waste of time.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Boyd Properties

I believe they qualify for multipliers, but you will be no mailed sooner or later just like stations if you are playing exclusively 100% games. I play at both and give them just enough play to generate mailings that are disproportionate for the amount of play and not a dollar more. My offers from the two are comparable in terms of comps and free play, stations has actually been a little more generous with the free play, Boyd gives a little more food. For me playing the 100% games would produce a lower return, and this is playing quarters, although it takes more manipulation and work to achieve that than playing 100% plus games.
The two Boyd properties in town off boulder highway that are not a part of b connected actually gave me about twice the free play for the same coin in as my b connected mailer, although this is my first mailing from jokers wild. Why not play stations and Boyd if you're local?

[vpFREE] Re: Revel Bet

Civil ceremony was at NYC clerks office on Friday, what a nutty place. The 'classy' affair in August. Thank you.

I had sometime between the clerk and the private time to check the boards. If I had multi-tasked the way you were implying, I'd be divorced already.

Thanks in advance, also do people prefer other Boyd properties?

I think it is not law yet but agreed upon in principle. Rampart has not
ever charged me taxes on a comp but other places do and will have to change
policy.
