Re: [vpFREE] Re: Current theory on Boyd mailers?

They have been dropping their offers at all levels, and all properties in the Vegas area . Some of the hosts are good at giving you upgrades to your mailer, some aren't.

I was an emerald for 10 years or more mostly playing in Tunica. They
started cutting offers and comps and the personel got to the point of not
carry if you came there or not. I moved my play to Caesars properties and
never was missed at Boyd. You would have thought that there would have at
least been an inquirie as to why I was no longer coming there.

It seems like their is a general tightening for consistent players at their level.

[vpFREE] Current theory on Boyd mailers?

The Boyd offers for April are now viewable on the B-Connected web site.

My spouse's and my mailer were both cut significantly. That may be due to reduced action in January when we took a vacation.

I was wondering if anyone has information on the time period that Boyd considers when allocating free play to players. For quite some time I've been assuming they use a three month sliding window with one month of "lag". For instance, April's offers would be based on action given in Dec through Feb.

Thoughts and opinions?

G'luck all,
Gamb00ler
