[vpFREE] Re: LVRJ: Caesars CEO Loveman stepping down in wake of bankruptcy

. . . Being replaced by former CEO at Hertz.

Flash forward a year and you are sitting at a black jack table. The dealer deals himself an ace face up.
"Insurance" they ask? "No," you reply. "OK then, I'm going to need you to sign on this line, and initial here. . .here. . .here. . .and here. And you thought 6:5 blackjack was bad.

[vpFREE] Re: Tahoe Now: Hard Rock Review

Hard Rock Tahoe stated before they opened that their emphasis was going to be on food, beverage and entertainment and not gaming. vpFREE2 shows 9/5 JOB bartop progressive at the quarter level.

----We were very disappointed to see that all of the games we checked on the
main floor were in the neighborhood of 97-98 %. No idea how this these
pathetic offerings are supposed to distinguish them from the rest of Tahoe or
draw customers away from anyone else. We were so disappointed we didn't
even bother to get a player's card.----

Hopefully someone will chime in with a pointer or two, Jim.

The timeliness of your comments was helpful!

Let's put this whole thing in perspective. Please check the "Latest News"

[vpFREE] eBay items

Not sure this is the correct forum to list this in but for those interested, I have posted some of Bob Dancer/Liam W. Daily Winner's guides and Dan Paymar's Video Poker Guides for sale. I don't play anymore so thought others could make better use of them now. Thanks.

>>Bob dancer has done a lot to educate VP players which might be a good
thing. But unfortunately I suspect that he and he alone has also done a
tremendous amount to cause good VP to vanish because he is such a heavy player
on the good games and he is also writing all those articles about how
wonderful good VP is.<<

Well...I understand that the person who posted this is irate because she
didn't notice the "no points" sticker, but I don't know if Bob Dancer can
really be blamed for anything like that. I'm not in a position to have any
inside information about the rarified atmosphere of the high roller areas,
but it would seem that for a big casino, it would be easier to "86" an
offending player (or make changes to their player club status) rather than go to
all the effort of making a lot of targeted changes to their VP point
structure on very specific types of machines.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Ellis mailer - perhaps major changes afoot

I played at Ellis Island at 1/31 about 3K coin in. Also no free play in mail or in Kiosk.

regular monthly multiplier days as always. Can anyone clarify?

Gambooler has the right info:

0-999 daily base points get 1X
1,000 - 1,999 daily base points get 2X
2,000 - 4,999 daily base points get 4X
5,000+ daily base points get 10X

These old multipliers are gone as of February 1st:

10x Mon, Fri, Sat. 3x Tues, Weds, Thurs & Sun.

Some machines are still excluded.

I've been there twice already this month. No bounceback free play has been available from the kiosk and nothing mailed to me about it either.

We didn't go through the mall but through the parking lot (for the mall) closest to the ship. If you are staying for a couple of days before the cruise leaves you could take a walk over there to see the best route. One complication will be all the crowds there for Mardi Gras if you are leaving on the 14th. It might be easier to ask Harrah's concierge. They might just provide you a limo over perhaps shared with some other SevenStar guests. When you disembark, Mardi Gras will be over and the walk back very easy....much easier than waiting for a car to pick you up. Hope you have a great trip!
