[vpFREE] Palms Play Earn Win July Promotions Question

We're planning to visit Palms on a Friday in July, however we do not live in Vegas. (so can't go to the promotion booth for information) Can anyone share with me what some of the items are that are available for this promotion? I have Googled it many different ways but cannot find out any information. Thanks in advance for any help.

He's been our host since GVR opened, so probably this will be a big blow to many players. I tried to verify this by emailing Dan but did not receive a reply. He is/was way on top of things and not getting a response from him is very telling. Anyone know where Dan went?

I received an email from a Green Valley Ranch host not listed in the database that Dan Skinner is no longer there. WOW! He's been our host since GVR opened, so probably this will be a big blow to many players. I tried to verify this by emailing Dan but did not receive a reply. He is/was way on top of things and not getting a response from him is very telling. Anyone know where Dan went?

(I tried to send the Admin this update but continued to receive error messages.)

[vpFREE] Comps and taxes

Anyone know where we can get a copy on the new law regarding no taxes on
comped meals? I'd like to maybe have a copy with me sometimes for some of
these restaurants that seem to "insist" we must pay the taxes!

[vpFREE] New Slot Club at Plaza and Las Vegas Club

It should have gone into effect today. Can anyone report from Vegas about it? Specifically, and as was discussed on this board about a month ago, everyone was wondering what they meant by "royal flush bonus" where Jack Level gets 10%, Queen Level gets 25%, King Level gets 50%, and Ace Level gets 100%. Can anyone now clear up what that means?

By the way, I have a friend who had no trouble getting his Coast Emerald Level matched to Ace Level, even though he had not been playing at Plaza or Vegas Club for quite a while. But even he is still confused about the rest of the details.

thx

[vpFREE] vpFREE Posting Guidelines - 1 JUL 2013

vpFREE Posting Guidelines - 1 JUL 2013

http://www.west-point.org/users/usma1955/20228/V/POL_P.htm

1. Everyone should read and be familiar with the vpFREE
FAQ before posting messages on vpFREE Forums.

2. Every message's subject line should accurately identify
the content of the message, to facilitate faster navigation
by interested or uninterested members.

3. If you reply to a message and change the subject matter,
either start a new thread (preferable) with a new subject
line or rename the subject line to reflect its new focus.

4. When replying to messages, quote just enough of the
previous post to maintain continuity. Delete the rest of
the previous post.

5. When replying to messages, clearly differentiate the
previous message(s) from your comments, so that it will be
easy to identify who wrote what.

6. Never post lengthy copyrighted material verbatim without
permission. This includes posts from non-vpFREE internet
forums. Instead, post a link to the material and/or a
summary. Short, credited excerpts may be quoted.

7. Don't use any vpFREE member's real name, even their
first name, on any vpFREE forum unless they themselves use
their real name there.

8. As a spam prevention measure, no one can upload to the
Files Directory on the vpFREE home page unless they get
temporary upload access from the Administrator.

9. Casino personnel probably monitor vpFREE Groups so posts
containing sensitive information should take this into
consideration.

10. Members are expected to observe the rules of
Netiquette , and to practice politeness and show good taste
in their vpFREE posts.

11. Any post that disagrees with vpFREE Dogma and
reaches contradictory conclusions, should be supported with
significant, persuasive documentation. Generalizations and
limited anecdotal evidence aren't persuasive.

12. Most vpFREE members rely on the forum for accurate
information, and may misunderstand, misinterpret or be
confused by tongue-in-cheek posts which are presented as
fact. Always make it very clear in your posts if they are
tongue-in-cheek, by using "smilies", stating that you're
kidding or something similar.

13. Use FREEvpFREE for any political, religious, or smoking
vs. non-smoking discussions. Non-partisan status reports
about smoking and non-smoking availability in casinos are OK
on vpFREE.

14. If you have Yahoo administrative problems, send a
private email to the Administrator, after you have checked
the vpFREE Yahoo! Administrative Problems Directory.

15. Let the Administrator do the administrating. Send any
comments, questions, suggestions or disagreements about
vpFREE policies or procedures to the Administrator via
private email or post them on FREEvpFREE.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: San Diego Barona and Viejas

Was in the San Diego area recently (June 19th - June 26th). Went early on a Saturday to Viejas which now
boasts a new hotel.

The hotel was positioned on the back land behind the casino and therefore the background noise from the
casino is not heard in the hotel lobby and registration areas. The access to the casino is a good fit and the new with the old and the renovation makes the dining areas (including the buffet) very attractive.

The new membership came with a $10 reward in the machine and a 20% discount on food. A standard breakfast was $3 which was $2.40 with discount. Viejas was the older of the casinos so the "card house"
partitions are still a drawback. One large area is non-smoking with the old corridor leading to the other
areas still gets me turned around.

For a Saturday, the before noon crowd was light to medium. The personnel seemed to be very
outgoing even to the shuttle mini-bus drivers and the greeters at the hotel entrance with bottles of water.

On Monday, we took a early midday look at Barona. For a weekday, it was very crowded and as a general
impression, the ratio of the more graphic slot machines are gaining on the video poker, We had a bit of a problem cashing a check on a long-established cashier's account. They have a new system but somehow
no database of their veteran customers is available. The marketing still has your profile and tier levels
to accommodate comp requests.
