Interesting you touch on the limo comp topic ... it's one I've had a bit of a struggle with.
Last year we booked an airport return from Caesars LV while on an Aspiration II trip. I had assumed that with 7* the limo would be comped. Arrived home to find RC's shorted; it didn't occur to me that a limo charge was involved until I checked with my host who said that only 7* Annual Trips incl limo transfers.
Forget the exact charge, but it was substantial. Add in a $20 cash tip, and I gladly would have substituted a taxi.
Notwithstanding the "Annual Trip" info, I continue to qualify for free transfers at a few other properties. Not sure there's rhyme or reason as to why some cover it and others charge. The key thing is to be sure to ask if it's available without separate comp charge.it's not
As far as Lake Tahoe is concerned, since I tip $25-$40 each way with a limo transfer, a rental car can often be had by paying up a little morer, yielding an opportunity to sight see, not to mention having greater travel flexibility.

I will check with a host for limo transportation first. I hesitated on this because a) I thought I had read that CZR only guarantees limo transportation from airports within 50 miles of the hotel and Tahoe is something like 55 miles from the Reno airport, and 2) although I'm Seven Star, this is a Diamond Aspiration Level trip. Somewhere along the line, I understood that some Nevada properties were only providing limo service for Annual Retreats.
